Bass that are jumping. Please help.
They may be mullet. At lake Okeechobee we have them everywhere and they kind of resemble a bass when you glance at them.

Pitching Rod Help
Hey do you have a link for this rod? I'm looking for more of a Heavy instead of Medium Heavy. That sounds good. You can find it at www.gloomis.com Good luck in whatever you choose. Yeah thanks I found it after I posted.

the truth about skeet reese tessera rods.
I have the swimbait one, the pitching one, and the topwater one, and I love them all. They have more backbone than I thought the would. Good deal IMO.

Pitching Rod Help
Im wondering what would be the best pitching rod to get for $250 or less. I will be using it for medium grass type situations fishing around reeds. I was looking at the Daiwa Zillion and the Dobyns Champion Flipping Rods but I'm just not sure. If you recommend any others please let me know. Im going to put a Revo SX on it if that matters. Thanks.

2 questions. stx vs premier and BC pitching settings
In my opinion the STX is a smoother reel. The Premier is light, but almost feels like it could fall apart (I'm sure it won't). I prefer the STX unless you need the 2oz difference.

Bumps on Bass?
Hey I was wondering what these bumps on this bass are. They were on several others we caught that day too. They seemed to move too. Don't know if they are some kind of flea or something. Thanks.

Best frog rod/reel
Hey guys I was wondering what would be the best frog rod for around $100. I am also looking for a reel around $100 also. Whats the best gear ratio? I like fishing lilly pads and the thick stuff and probably going to be using 50-60 lb braid. Thanks in advance.

Hey, Getting my first boat tomorrow (Nitro X-5 ) and was wondering what are some of the basic things I need to keep on there at all times. Obviously i need life vests, anchor, first aid, rope, fire ext., oil, but is there a list you can give me just to make sure that I have it all to be safe. Thank You.

Family Tounament.
Well we had a little family tournament this evening. It was me and my dad against my two older brothers. It was very close and down to the wire. Our first fish was about an hour into the day and it was a MONSTER.My dad caught him on a Ribbit frog. Weighed in at 6.41 lb! (Pictured Below.) [img width=375 height=500]http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z161/LilRedneck123/p_00037.jpg We were PUMPED! We thought we were for sure winning throughout the whole day, but we werent sure because my brothers were fishing at a different location. It was the total weight of 6 fish so we still had alot of fish to catch. When we seen them fishing somewhere we stopped and asked them what their weight was and they said they had one .48 lber. We told them we had one decent one. :-X So a few hours later we had our 6 fish. We probably had about 13 lbs so far. Well later in the day we found out that my brothers were telling a little fib and they actually had 2 fish over 3.5 lb and 1 over 4 lbs. (All pictured below, and all caught on a BPS Sticko (sp?)) They had over 14lbs. [img width=500 height=281]http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z161/LilRedneck123/DSC05955.jpg [img width=500 height=281]http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z161/LilRedneck123/DSC05957.jpg [img width=500 height=281]http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z161/LilRedneck123/DSC05956.jpg So me and my dad were not looking as good as we thought we were. It was in the last 30 minutes and i casted my big ol wacky worm (7 and 1/8) out and hoped for the monster bite to put us over top. Well as you might of guessed, my drag was smokin! When I seen it jump I was praying to GOD that it didn't spit the hook. It didn't! It ended up being 4.96 lbs and put us in a good lead torward the end of the day. (Fish below) [img width=500 height=281]http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z161/LilRedneck123/DSC05962.jpg [img width=500 height=281]http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z161/LilRedneck123/DSC05963.jpg They didn't catch any more fish and we had them in the total for the day. Their weight was 14.96 lbs and ours was 16.89 lbs. All fish were released. Had a fun night of fishing and won 10$ in the process! Win Win to me!

I fish all year round, but I also go mudding with my truck. Here is my truck: and here are some of the baddest ones out there:
