I am coming over to Orlando from scotland first week in july, I am staying beside old lake davenport, and have access to a jetty. Any info re species, tackle etc would be appreciated. john

Hi Lads and Lasses I am coming over to florida for a family holiday start of July,I have been to orlando several times before. apart from drooling in the bass pro shop I havnt fished at all.I spend allmy spare time in scotland fly fishing for trout and coarse fishing for carp, pike tench bream etc. I am staying on old lake davenport and was wondering A. Would I catch on a float rod or leger rod B Where could I go in Polk county that I can pay to fish for bass, and rent tackle.I have a car and am on the 27, close to the i-4. thank you jw
