What i learn is that when hook setting, whip the rod downwards instead of upwards. I saw this on a pro youtube video. I'm gonna try to do this, this year.

Let me quote this again. This right here is the right answer. You can go as slow as you want for presentation, but for retrieving you would want the fastest speed there to get the bass in the boat.

The only thing i know is that if your BPS brand rod breaks and you go bring it in within the 1 year warranty you can trade it in for any rod and pay the difference.
