Inflatable Boats
I am going to be buying http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_714____SearchResults for small ponds around my house. Putting a trolling motor on it. From what i heard Sevylor is a pretty good product.

A color or pattern on a bait that you CANNOT stand
For me firetiger produces alot of bass in the spring on a deeper crank.

FIrst Boat
So i'm getting my first boat. It is a 14' semi v. Comes with a small trailer. My question is can a sub-compact car pull this thing around fine? I don't have the funds right now to get a truck. I was reading around and most people said the problem is loading and unloading. Any helpful tips will be gladly appreciated!

my wallet is hurting
Don't feel too bad. This year alone and i've spent over $1500 on gear. just got back from the classic and dropped another $300.

WD-40 on reels...
To keep them nice and clean: 1. Don't dip them in the water. 2. Don't drop them. 3. After use take them off the pole and put them in your bag. 4. Treat it like like cost $5000 to you. And i'm not too sure if you would want to use wd-40 on your reel. Go get some reel grease/lubricant.

Revo SX
I am actually going to bps first thing tommorow morning and picking up this reel for the trade-in. This reel feels pretty solid and i hope it will perform great! I really don't care about the glasses, but it's a bonus i guess. Just gonna sell it anyways.

KVD's winning bait
I was actually buying these before KVD won this classic. But to answer the original question yes i think more people will be buying these cranks. Also his poles and the quantum reels. I would too if i didnt know anything about fishing or just starting out. Anyways I was at Gander the other day and was looking through the selection of red eye shad and a guy came up to me and told me that this was the bait KVD used to win the classic lol. I thought it was just funny because he thought i was dumb and didn't know.

Carbonlite V.S. Vendetta
Not bad. But i would rather go to my local bps store and get another rod for free instead of having to pay at least $30 for shipping the rod there and back.

Carbonlite V.S. Vendetta
I just bought a vendetta 4 hours ago. I saw the postings for the spring classic. They said some luckycraft lures will be on sale so you better bet I will be there. Vendetta seems like a good heavy rod, If I end up not liking it I will return it. I don't care about the carbonlite because I don't care for the basspro products. Only reason i got the basspro rod is because im going to crank with it. I wanted a cheaper rod because i barely crank and i wanted to try it out this year. Also for the warranty they have.

coffee scent?
It wouldn't hurt to try right?

Carbonlite V.S. Vendetta
$20 off. I'm not sure how long it will last.

Carbonlite V.S. Vendetta
I like the feel of the carbonlite better. Plus you cant beat the warranty on the bps rods. Also the carbonlite rods are already on sale right now as we speak, but in store only!

Show Us Some Tackle!
I generally use only what i know works and produces the most fish for me. Jigs, Senkos, Spinnerbaits, and rage tail plastics. This year im going to try cranking shallow baits.
-
Flipping baits
I will be using the new ragetail rooster this year.

Flipping baits
What kind hooks do you guys use for flipping soft plastic baits?

Line Help?
Braid would help in the lily pads. Taking out a backlash with braid on is easier IMHO. Just a thought but a new reel would reduce your backlashes GREATLY.
-
bucktail lures
I just got a couple of the bucktail jigs also. Just gonna fish them like any other jig i usually do. Put on a matching trailer and hit the water.

Show Us Some Tackle!

BPS Carbonlite Rods-Great!
I just bought the carbonlite rod yesterday. It is still on sale at bps. I was shocked when the teller said it was on sale and $20 off. Light rod and pairs up nice with my curado.

UPDATE* E7 let down
Something is defective on that particular reel. The Curado 200E7 is comparable in every way to the highest priced Shimanos. At the pricing point, I thnk it is the best reel on the market. Unfortunately, you have a dud. It is comparable to my core100mg. almost the same casting distance and smoothness. You there must have a dud.

BPS Carbonlite Rods-Great!
Thinking about picking this up. Picked it up and it was pretty light.
