  5. Sure they make good plastics, Ol' monster produce well some times the biggest of the day, I had used the Ultra vibe mag speed worm and is a good producer, as well all the lizards from 4" to 8" brush hogs, particularly the babies, Trick and finesse worms,I love the Big Dead Ringer is excellent worm, until today I don't know a bad zoom lure. David
  6. Central west Mexico: By far my best summer I had fish at Aguamilpa having good fishing, improving my techniques mostly in plastics, last Saturday I had fished my three best fishes in the same morning. Deep and plastic summer, fortunately too rainy and not hot ! David

  9. Zoom 6" Watermelon red lizard! for me
  10. Comparing The Sufix XL Strong, and supreme, that are copolymer lines, in the strenght resistance both are in the Yo Zuri Hybrid class. Pros: good abrasion resistance, low stretch, and thinner diameter for the tension resistance. cast well in baitcaster or spinning, and last pretty well. Cons. Are little coily after a couple of weeks of not casting, but at 10 or 12 casts, the line is OK. and must be carful with the knots. David
  11. Mustad, Gamakatsu and Owner, I like the owner "J" hook in 1/0 and 5/0 almost all my specialized hooks are owner like weed less wacky, sled head, shakey head, I like Gamakatu EWG in 2/0 3/0 superline 4/0 Superline and 5/0 and mustad 37177 in 2/0 to4/0 those are little bit larger from the point to the eye and give more space for short strikes! David
  12. Baby Brush Hog ! on wms or junebug! David
  13. Culprit: 7.5" and 10", Zoom: Big Dead Ringer, U Tale, Trick, Finesse, Mag II and Ol' Monster. Yum 7.5" and 10" Ribbon tail... as well senkis and dingers 4",5",6" & 7"

  16. On regular colors, Gold, cooper and silver, in aglia, aglia long and comet, as well any Back Fury, my prfered is with orange dots, dressed or not. David
  17. Thank you everybody I got good comments about the lures! David
  18. I agree, in my last trip I used the big dead ringer and we were very succeseful using that lure, I had read a lot about the anaconda, but I'm no really convinced about pay the extra for those ;thinking that Aguamilpa Lake once you find the lure you empty the pack in less than an hour. ........unfortunatelly, I have not a zoom dealer close to me, or SK.to buy a bulk packs ! Thanks for the coments David
  19. Some body had used Both ...or any and can give the opinion about those products (thinking in anaconda 7" and Big Dead Ringer 8").....considering that both lures has large profile ribbon tails !
  20. 6" Zoom Lizard & Trick Worm...why? because those lures when I use'em are really effective ! David
  21. Yes; Years ago I only used crank baits, and now I'm so interested to improve my soft bait knowledge, and I'm about 90% on plastics.!!!!!
  22. Sure keep that secret!!!, and let me know the results!.... I was really skeptic about the rig, anyway the guide rigged my carolina in that way, I got 6 consecutive fishes, when I replace the lure with the usual rig (stomach - back ) I stop fishing after 3 casts; I back to side rig, I start fishing again three consecutive more fish!!
  23. Yes I mean that the hook comes out from the legs' side this give us more strikes than the usual rig. when the hook coms out form the Back !
  24. Zoom Lizards too; this weekend, we had a lot of success, with 6" watermelon red chartreuse tail and side rigging.......amazing ! Other good lizards are YUM Zellamanders, those creatures work really nice too
  25. I had used a lot the black mepps or black fury's, those theorically works on low light or visibility, conditions but the reallity is that works when the others two don't and not necessary on low visibility conditions!!!!!...after some time of try and nothing works use that! David
