line help - breaks
I've been catching really good size fishes on a pier i've been fishing. problem is, im using a spinning gear cranking on seaguard 8lb. think its flouro. if they arent big, no biggy. muscle them over, call it a day. but if theyre big, i sometimes get line snaps. thats not good. there really isnt an option to fight em over. shore fishing stinks. anyways, any good line solutions that'll work better then what im using now?

Hook set with a spinnerbait
I couldve had more then 2 fish strikes, but for sure two were bass. they both hit near shore and visibly came out of the water during my set. I'm using a pretty good setup. avid MH 7 foot, stx, 12 lb mono. Ok, i'll try light sets next time.

Hook set with a spinnerbait
This weekend, I had two strikes with my spinnerbaits. Unfortunately, i don't think they got on. After setting, the bait either came loose, or went flying back at me. Is there a way to set the hook with the spinnerbait that will improve my hookset. I know, with spinnerbaits, there are alot of short strikes, but in this case, im not sure if that's what happened. also, is there a specific way of rolling the spinnerbait to improve more catches. my entire outing, with two fish on, doesn't build confidence in using this bait. slow roll? burn? stop and go?

I'm having fun with plastics. but I'd like to know when i need to use a rage craw versus a sweet beaver (or simular baits). aint they all just plastic? sure ones got action and one doesnt, but does it matter if both are going to work?

Flippin - line selection
Hello, I've spent the last year flippin jigs on braided line. finally spooled my reel with mono. It doesnt seem to be too shabby either. Can you guys give me some knowledge of pro/cons using Mono/Braided/Floro? at this point, they all seem to be pretty equivalent to each other. Trying to make a decision on what to use before the season kicks off in michigan. Thanks,

Best Worm/Jig Rod for Less Than $150
RW I bought the avid. I'm hoping I'll have a good time with it. 105 was not a bad deal at all. I've got an IMX in MH 7'1. I'm guessing they'll be relative to each other. Probably use one for flippn n the other for spinnerbait. we'll have to test it out though. excited..

Rod holder name - help please

Rod holder name - help please
I've seen a shore angler use it once. Its a rod holder that lets him hold multiple rods. it has a handle that you can use to lift all your rods with one hand and move to your next spot. any ideas?

Spro Fat Crank 20
Oh can i rock your Gander mountain discount? haha.

Spro Fat Crank 20
These cranks have Gats treble hooks on them. cant go wrong with that. with Cranks, gotta hook em hard so they dont spit em out. have not yet seen the action of these lures, but if you say so, then... Good choice.
