It will affect me alot. I was layed off for 8 months, took a job making less than unemployment. I will prob have to sell my old,paid for, stump jumper, because i can't afford to put gas in it.

It's not funny when 8 boats zero at weigh in. One boat caught a 6+pound bass. This was a tough day on the water. I even read where another group had a tourney at another lake and no one weighed any fish. I hope the fishing gets better for the rest of the year.

I just found out that my partner has descent knowledge of the lake. I'll have to rely on him for that. The lake is electric only so at least we don't have to fight the big boats.

I'm nervous about my first tourny this year. Its on a lake that ive never fished. I was told it was 8ft above normal. The temps around here have been in the low 40s during the day and 30s at night. The next couple of days are suppose to be warmer during the day. I am not real sure what is going to work.

I havent' thrown many worms, but I do throw alot of lizards. How about the spinnerbaits? Let them sink or burnem'? Or just try different methods.

Oooh a jig sounds good. I just recently caught my first fish on a jig! I need to try that.
