  1. I would flip a black and blue jig tight to cover and fish slowly if the water temps have dropped like they have here in Texas the fish get real tight to cover, those fish that were on beds when this blew in will still be there, but the rest that were roaming should be tight to cover.
  2. The new evolution camo patterned jigs are awesome.
  3. i have nothing but Dobyns rods in the box now with shimano e7's
  4. i like to throw them weightless on a 5/0 owner, and i also throw them using a splitshot about 12-18inches above.as far as colors go you cant beat watermelon seed tail dipped in chartruese, and watermelon red is good i also use pearl white and baby bass.and last but not least watermelon candy
  5. i just got a Dobyns 795 MLSB Mike Long SwimBait rod and i think its awesome very lightweight and sensitive.I got it from Deloscustomtackleshack they have them on sale now for 139.95 with a one year warranty are you can get the lifetime warranty for regular price.
  6. the 684cb is an excellent joice for topwater and dt14 type baits good action and nice backbone also, not reccomended for the real deepdivers due to length only,as far as the new rods, they wont be out until mid jan,and they are upgraded.
