Fish Finder Power Cord too Short
I'm starting to install a Lowrance Hook 4x Fish Finder that my son got with his money earn from cutting grass this year for his Ascent FS12 sit-in kayak , was planning on putting the battery box behind the seat but come to find out the power cord {red 2 pin 032-0353-02} is only 3 an a half feet long. I need around 10 feet. Ive look at the Lowrance web site and I don't see any 3 wire red cap cable that I can use. What can I use for a extension to connect to my battery box behind his seat? or a 2 wire cable to splice on too.

Swivels = Less Fish??
I had always use a swivel/clip 35 years ago , I just started fishing again using the swivel/clip on my 9yr son's Zebco 33 combo w/10lb line, We had cought a 14inch Bass ,Pickerel ,Blue Gills and just the other day I cought a 5lb Bass with a rubber worm, I had use Popers ,Frogs, and rubber worms with a swivel and wonder if it would be better to tie a knot strait to the lures. On my new Zebco Delta combo coming in tomorrow I'm going to try doing without the swivel clip on my fishing pole and try using single hook rigs; worm hooks, jigs, spinner baits etc .

I went with the Zebco Delta Combo to start with for $41. . Maybe next tax time I will get a good bait cast combo. I've use the open face reels growing up but always wanted to get my hands on a bait cast.

Will I been out off work on WorkMan's Comp. for all most a year now So I didn't have a lot of money to spend , But I did find the Zebco Delta Combo for $33.95 Witch I thought was a pretty good deal to get started on. I have been looking at the Bait Cast but find them to be expensive right now. But did find a beginners package Bait Cast Reel & Rod with some tackle gear at a Dick's Sport Store around my price range and did happen to see a real nice Quantum Rod & Reel Combo for $119. my hands did start to shake a little when I hold it.

Will I haven't fish in over 35 years and starting over with my 10 year old. I just bought him a Zebco 33 Combo Rod and Reel and planing on ordering a Zebco Delta Combo Rod and Reel for myself. We cought our first 14in Large Mouth Bass with a rubber worm with my son's reel, it cast's real nice and smooth hopefully the Delta will be better? Maybe some day I will move up to a bait cast reel.
