  1. I am very new to bass fishing for when i go fishing i catch only 20 percent bass and 80 percent bluegill crappie and pumpkin seed. Im sick of it. What I first did was get new lures and that started helping.I fish on the shore for bass about 12-16 inches. I dont need anything too fancy just something simple and inexpensive.
  2. I am very new to bass fishing only about two or three months experience. What are the different types of rod action and what do they mean? I dont want to get too complicated i just wanted a rod that sustain an 8 pound bass, fishes topwater lures well, and casts far. Same goes for reels. No fancy bullshivic but just a nice rod under 120 bucks.

  4. I use a 3 inch to 5 inch Rapala Skitter Pop Topwater Lure. You can fish this anywhere from dark areas at night with lots of cover and structure, to open waters in mid-afternoon. It will always get a nice one. Good Luck!
  5. I am an amateur angler and i have an allright fishing rod that can somewhat sustain what i want to catch-around 12-13 inch bass. I would like to take it to the next level and get a better reel and rod but i dont know what makes a reel good and what makes a rod good. Im looking for 12-15 inch bass weighng .8 pounds to 5 pounds. :-?
