Hi all, I would like to mount my new downscan unit to my TM. However, my motor shaft slides through a collar at the top to stow it, so I can't ty-wrap the cable to it. It's been suggested to simply ty-wrap it @ the top and bottom and just tuck the w\cable "somewhere" when the TM isn't in the water. I don't much like that idea too much. I COULD get an extention cable and transom mount the transducer, but would rather keep it up front. What do you guys think??

Got a nice one at Massabesic in Manchester on the 7th. Walked in on one of the fire roads off 28, dropped a plactic worm over a log just offshore and caught him on his bed.

Thanks for the reply. I have a 20+ yr old boat and don't think I could get the replacement carpet from the original company, so I think I'll go with Boatcarpetcentral. I just got my samples, so I'll make a choice and get going on it. Thanks again for the post

Have any of you guys used this website to buy carpet for your boat? LOOKS like a great site with lots of types and colors, and kits including glue. Doing the boat over this winter/spring and don't want to start off with a bad experience! Thanks, Barry

Hi guys.....newbie here on this board, but I think you guys may have stumbled on a new product to develop. How 'boat a new boat wash that ATTRACTS fish? Like using deer urine in the woods.......hmmmm, we need a chemist to figure this one out.....but I see a big payday for the one that does! People will buy ANYTHING in this country!! (who remembers Pet Rocks?)

Hi guys, Kinda new here....been peeking in and learning here and there, but need help identifying a fish my bro-in-law caught Monday eve in the Merrimack near the Nashua boat ramp.
