today it was cold and windy the baits that produced the best were a 7" berkley finnese worm and a 7" berkley shakey head worm both rigged weightless and slowly dragged on the bottom caught 5 fish 2 were 3 pounders and missed 2 nice fish when my dragged messed up

It is supposed to be 65 and sunny on thursday and i was thinking about going out and fish a few ponds. Would any one like to join me or bring me along if they are fishing on thursday

I want to go as well if there are any spots

I couldnt find my lucky BPS hat either this morning i was mad. And im going to pick up some swimbaits this week and try them around my local lakes and get a feel for them. What color jigs were you having best luck on i tried a black and blue strike king with a yum craw trailer and a pb&j booyah with a yum chunck trailer. got a few hits but were all short hits. Had the most hits on a rage tail lizard in watermelon red with a 3/8 oz bullet wait. Most of the water we fished was deeper so the wind was messing up my senko retrieve. No luck at all on spinner bait and crank bait i tried a rapala rattle trap no luck on that either but i didnt try it much it was the first time i used it i should of tried it more. I wanted to try the zoom super fluke in baby bass but i didnt know if it would be ok with all the wind.

I am ready for round two whenever every one else is. I know i can figure that place out next time. If i didnt think i could do good i wouldnt drive an hour and a half to fish it lol but i think i can do better next time

Im used to shore fishing lakes sometimes rivers but if im river fishing im wading. I have been on a boat three times this year and did great but one was a resovoir and the other was a river. I fish innsbrook swift creek resovoir, pochoantas state park, james river, ed allens(chicohomany lake) and other small but good lakes around richmond that are in woods and hardly fished. Usually i catch atleast 5 in 3 hours of fishing.

It was fun watching rockville(mark) fight that atleast 40 pound catfish for 5-10 minutes on 6lb line test and bring him all the way to the boat just to watch it snap, didnt have a big enough net to land him

sorry to rockville and newangler today was my first skunk of the year we just couldnt find the fish today even if i boated a keeper we still would have lost. next time i will be more prepared and will make sure that my team doesnt loose. I tried spinnerbaits crankbaits jigs senkos lizards space monkey rage tail andaconda paca craw and swimming senko i missed the only good bite i had and it was probally only about 12 inches anyways wouldnt of helped us much.

If there is not enough room i wouldnt mind sitting out but i wanna come show you nova guys how richmond guys fish. Any team i am on if there is room will win :-)

I am available to fish burke on saturday if there is an open spot if not thats fine to i will shore fish in richmond

I wouldnt mind participating in the fish off the only problem is i dont have a boat. If anyone had any extra space and wouldnt mind one more then i would like to do it.

I am in i went wade fishing this past saturday i caught 2 small mouth and 3 largemouth in 3 hours of fishing. I waded in the north anna and used senkos and did pretty well. If i can get a pm of the launch place i would like to go

But he didnt poke a hole in the mouth he did it right and did it threw the bottom of the gill so it doesnt poke a hole

If you weigh it right like he did it doesnt punch a whole in the mouth so if you dont know your facts then dont trash on someone else

Now that the weather is colder and we have got some more fresh rain the fishing should really start getting better for september and october

Went there again today with shawn and caught 18 fish and one was a 3.2 pounder and 1 pike the rest were between 1-1.5 pound bass fished for 3.5 hours caught alot of fish but not the size we were looking for

Im going there today to see if i cant get some bigger ones out of there. 6" watermelon black seed senkos and 6" yum dinger watermelon red flake were having the best action but havent really tried much else yet

The two Bass that i am holding the first one is 4.8 and second one is 4.5 the one shawn is holding is 4lbs caught 6 more total bass and 4 pickeral that day only fishing about 5 hours for me and 3 hours for shawn not a bad day for a first day on a new lake

i have heard that innsbrook is better in the morning but me and shawn usually fish it everyday after we get off work from 430ish-930ish
