  2. the biggest i caught at innsbrook was 21" and 4.6 lbs
  3. at first they wouldnt hit mine either but then i sprayed garlic on my soft plastic and walked down the bank some and had a white senko on a shakey head and caught one that way and the other one i caught on a bed was a white super fluke on a shakey head
  4. 4.6 4.6 and 4.8 and they werent weighed on the same scale so they are probally off give or take a few ounces
  5. the three 4lb range fish i have weighed were bigger than those sixes
  6. caught two 2lbers on beds this morning at innsbrook my dad didnt want to stay long so i only could fish 1/4 of the lake and not much time anyone else want to go out in the richmond area today?
  7. haha i wish i didnt get to see any kind of sunlight or fresh air while i was in there. but it wasnt that bad, no more drunk driving for me i learned my lesson in february when i got the ticket and now after serving the 5 days the judge gave me it deffinately changed my mind on doing that again
  8. Just got out of a 5day in henrico county hopefully they are still bedding so i can get some action on them
  9. fished 6 hours today at innsbrook only 3-4 bites and no fish landed, not my favorite kind of day, i threw everything i had out there and i couldnt get anything.
  10. the only color i have tried is the rainbow trout and in 2 outings using it only about 1/4 of the time out i caught 5 fish on it
  11. no we havent fished there yet but its deffinately a good spot, and yea i want to try that powhite place again too
  12. yea it was just that i never had any luck there catching anything over 1.5 lbs so i wasnt expecting to get one of that size, but from now on i am going to make sure that i have everything i need, my dad was with me earlier and he had a good camera and a scale and he left about 20-30 minutes before i caught it and i hadnt caught anything all day before that so i didnt think to ask for his scale or camera and im ready to start the every day routine again after the rain we get tomorrow goes away
  13. I wasnt expecting of catching anything bigger than 4lbs other wise i would of gotten a new battery for my scale and brought my ruler, from now on i am always going to make sure i have those items when im fishing, the guy that took the picture for me said he has been fishing wilde lake for years and that was the biggest one he has seen caught out of that place.
  14. only caught one fish today which i will post the picture later the picture doesnt do it much justice because i tried to get it taken fast and i was bending the tail towards my body so you cant see how long it is but the fish was easily 8 pounds and i think between 8 and 10 and the random guy that was fishing near me said the same thing i wish i would of had my ruler because it was over the 22 inches for citation and the guys scale was broke and read 32 lbs and i didnt have my scale it would of easily of made citation for weight as well it was more than twice the size of my 4lbers and my arm got sore from carrying it after fighting it in, caught it on a lipless crawdad colored crank. Wish i would of had a cooler in the explorer cause this one would of made my wall :'( new pb with an unknown weight. im going to try and go there tomorrow to see if i catch one even half the size of the one i caught today. I could fit my fist all the way in its mouth without it even touching the mouth.
  15. nope wilde lake again when i wake up which will probally be around 10
  16. i fished wilde lake today saw a bunch of bass near the bank looking like they were about to spawn alot of small ones and about 10-15 4-6 pounders i tried throwing everything i had at them but every time i would cast near them or past them and reel my bait up to them they would spook and swim off. hopefully when i go tomorrow they will be closer to spawning and wont swim off as much
  17. my xbox live gt is- Itz Cwis
  18. i thought you were going to wilde lake saturday?
  19. what time do you guys plan on heading out there cause i wouldnt mind giving that lake another try also
  20. i was mainly using the line more than the rod im just saying the rod wasnt having a problem usually i just hold the rod straight and pull the line so the rod doesnt bend much
  21. I have only ran into 1 and he was nice he just came up asked for my fishing license and i showed him and then he left
  22. i got hung up on rocks a few times during the day to and one time on a stump in the ground and i was using 20lb braid and my carbonlite was strong enough to pull the shakey head out of the rocks even though it took a few minutes it seemed pretty durable and that was my 3rd outing of the year on it and i fished the two i had for 8 hours yesterday at lake anna no problems with them at all and great sensitivity for the price they are at i felt every stick, rock, and fish bite and i could easily tell the difference between a fish bite and a rock or stick.
  23. yea it was a nice day on lake anna thanks again for everything steve and i wish i would of saved that picture of the fish so i could of posted it on here.
  24. yea i forgot to mention that dingers is what i use i like them better than senkos mainly because of durability but also had just as many if not more bites on them than the senkos i had. My 3 biggest fish last year were all caught on 6" yum dingers two on watermelon black seed and one on watermelon red seed
  25. are you talking about the 6inch ones? if so i have more success fishing them weightless weedless than wacky rigging
