  1. are there any carreers in fishing or related to fishing? are there any colleges or courses that relate to going fishing?
  2. is it worth getting? what all do you get? I see ESPN sponsors or owns it now.
  3. I was satisfied with it. had it for about 2 years then it ran out. Got a card stickers and patches at first. Then I recieved a lot of hooks, bobbers and swivels. I also got a Hard back bass book like the 15 dollar ones you see at walmart. Pretty nice I thought. Not to mention you get a magazine every other month. Its a decent magizine. Not the best for bass but some months especially in the spring and summer there were lots of good articals. Also every magazine had a lot of free items you could win or field test. Lots of great info on baits. I think if you get the life time for a cheap price its not that bad for all the free items you get and its has a decent and very wide fishing site and fourm. Pretty much can meet any type of fishermen through the fourm which I like when your trying to learn about new kinds of fishing. If you are just a Bass fisher though I would suguest you find a Bass club.
  4. do you still need one? I am a ok fisher but never fished those lakes, if you would like I could help, also I know some great turney fishermen that fish those lakes so if you would like I could talk to them about it, just send me a email fishin4bass@gmail.com or talk to me on aim fishin4bass2002 if your still in need.

  8. I dont know if this has to do with bass fishing at all but Im thinking about learing to fly fish this summer and was wondering what I need to start out with and how much it would cost. Whats a good starter rod and reel? and whats all the accessories, ect I will need?
  9. around my area ( North Carolina) the weather goes from mid 50- low 70s right now, and yes thats right its the winter. The weather does seem to get that cold now. Now this week it does supose to get around in the low 30s but then it will go back to the 50s a few days later. Now I am not used to fishing in the winter but me lacking pacients of waiting until spring has really got me this year and I have already started. I just dont know what to use or do during the winter season. What baits and Techniques do I need to do? also what about muddy water right now? thanks for any advice you can give.
  10. Well there is The Original Chatterbait that I assume is the original one from last year that started it all and then there is the booyah brand and a few other new brands that copy the design but have some differences the other brands I have found are Stan Sloan's Zorro® Baits Rattlin' Wing-Dings, then there is the Renosky® Chatterbait Swimming Jigs which has a different kind of blade and supose to have more vibration, the Booyah Chatterbait didnt get good reviews because it wire breaks a lot. the Gambler Swim Blade Jig is said to be good but is better top water from what I heard, I havent used one yet but I have one I plan to use tommorow and I have heard from a lot of good friends that it is a good bait.
