  1. Honestly, I feel your pain. I live in Arkansas and we are experiencing 100+ heat index, sticky-humid conditions, mosquitos the size of small charter jets, and a stagnant airflow. I have found lately I really catch some great bass at night. Especially on rock points. I've caught some of my largest fish ever in pitch black conditions as the bass move from deep water to cool off, to the shallow, rock areas to feed. Because the rocks cool much much faster than clay, sand, etc. the bass seem to stack up on these piles. Thus... its a feeding frenzy. Man.. it makes me want to go right now! Of course... one thing that drives me crazy is that I can't see where I am pitching my lure... Anyone know any good lighting systems... or any way... to lessen hang-ups during night-time/black-out conditions... ? especially when structure fishing?
