  1. Hello all. Pretty basic question; anyone know if they make any sort of polarized glasses that will fit over a pair of normal eyeglasses? My eyes are horrible and going without my glasses would be impossible, so i would need something that fits over them. Thanks!

  3. Hello all. Stumbled upon your forum and I like what i see, so I guess ill hang around a while. I live in Northeast Ohio, and have been fishing since I was 5 years old (my dad is an avid fisherman, and he was kind enough to pass that obsession on to me...) and am now 33. I like fishing for smallies off the walls in Lake Erie, Pymatuning for crappie and walleye, and a host of small to medium sized ponds for LM. No boat yet, but hopefully after graduation from KSU that will be within my reach. Mostly I fish spinners or small crankbaits, as a lot of the places I fish guarantee frustration and much expense if you try to drag anything across the bottom tho I love fishing worms and plastics when I have the chance. The only time I use bait these days is when Im fishing for catfish, though the channels in Pymatuning seem drawn to anything from a Rapala to a spoon when you're least expecting them. Anyways, hi to you all, nice forum!
  4. Hello all. I want to get a casting rod for use with worms and plastics, and I rather love my LTB spinning rod that I use for spinners, so I'd like to stay with St Croix. Most (like 99%) of my fishing is done from shore in small to medium ponds atm, so weeds and brush will be a factor. Can only budget for one of these just now, and plan to use a Shimano Curado reel (already have that, it was a gift) with the rod. Which of their rods would be best for this? I will likely use 12 pound mono, I have no experience with any of the braided lines. Their website kind of confuses me, I have no idea which of these rods would be best for this purpose. Thanks!
