  1. im not to familar with braid, do you have to have a mono leader? or can you just tie the tackle on direct? whats the reasoning behind it? sorry if this sounds dumb but im fairly new.
  2. i have 2 questions; first when fishing a plastic worm with a spinner reel, and the line spooling up seats loosely. what is the major cause of this? or is it just inevitable? im using a pflueger president w/ 10lb trilene xt if that matters. is braid a better choice than the mono? and second my baitcaster the shimano curado on a 6'6'' med, its currently strung up with 12lb trilene xt. i was thinking of switching to braid. any suggestions on a brand and test, that will still allow smooth casting and solid hook sets??
  3. i dont know about there not being any fish in NC. your just not going to the right places. it probiallydidnt hurt that i was fishing on some of the private lakes of whispering pines. if i can figure out how to post up pictures ill post up the monster i pulled out of there, aside from the other 2's and 3's.
  4. hey all, just got back from a great 4 day bass fishing trip whispering pines, NC. comin from NJ all i have to say is wow. i didnt catch anything under 2 lbs. was catching them on white spinner baits and bill dances yum dancing eel and the occasional powerbait soft plastic worm, but more the other two. being a new bass fisherman i am now hooked. using the bill dance lure i missed about 10 fish who must have been biting on the tail. is there a similar lure that has the same action but with another hook at the tip of the tail?
