  10. Why do they make a big deal about it? To be honest, I picked up a super spot in Foxy Shad color yesterday and caught 4 bass today after setting traps.I like the color but what's so good about it? :-?
  11. heyy look at that you put a mohawk on the baits! haha. anyway nice job
  12. When I went out I was focusing on one thing, crankbaits! I never caught a bass on a crankbait in my life. anyway, I took out my dad's 20-25 year old RAT L TRAP in crawfish/ old way color. the spitrings were rusted, the hooks sort of were, but I said "what the heck, it cant hurt" I was right. I was chucking the RATLTRAP on ten pound mono, and man it casts a mile. when I went to the pond it lost 3-4 feet of water because the pipe is clogged, were gonna help the owners get that unclogged. anyway I had only two bites that would tap my rod, the rest stopped it dead in it's tracks! including a small white crappie which slammed it! without catching that I wouldn't have found out there was crappie in it. All the bass i caught were only about 1 pound but it was fun. I caught 5 bass and 1 crappie. Not bad for a cold day in eastern pa. ;D
  13. what tools do I need? Hopefully something I dont have to buy besides wood
  14. Ummm, dont you guys know there are 5,6,7,8,and 9 inch versions of the TT swimbait, I have a 6" bluegill TT, it has great action but can't really use it with my rods, they're too light.

  18. ha ha, but really she lived long enough, ive been persistent in catching a beauty like her and finally hooked up onher in cold weather, the big fish are eating now so time to fish until it gets too cold.
  19. I did not have the right measuring equipment but you never know, maybe a 10 pounder is in that pond.
  20. oh really dock master, well just today I went to the same pond, it was pretty cold and windy, I caught a 7lb 3oz bass on a jig! I would usually release big fish but this is a fish of a lifetime! so im getting it mounted, and the pond is only 3 acres, my dad said the biggest in there was probably a 5 pounder, WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG! haha 8-) :
  21. it's a new species called a largemolfin, OH! or a Durabass! ;D
  22. "When the wind is from the North, wise fisherman to not go forth. When the wind is from the south, it blows the hook into the fish's mouth. When the wind is from the east, good fishing is the least. When the wind is from the west, Then the fishing is the best."
