Hey everyone, I would love to get an IMX for an all purpose rod, but it's a little out of my budget. This may sound stupid or oxymoronic, but is there anything that rivals it for less money? I guess I am asking what the next best all purpose rod is?

I know very little about setting up a trolling motor and was wondering about batteries. Do I need a separate battery from my boat battery for my trolling motor? Also if i need a separate battery do I need a charger? How does the charger work? Thanks a bunch.

Hey everyone, Happy Holidays to all. Just wondering about an all purpose rod? At this point I'm not worried about price. Looking for something that handles plastics, spinnerbaits, cranks, topwater and jigs. I've heard g-loomis IMX is really good. Granted no one rod will perfectly fish all techniques, what do you think is the best all purpose rod out there?

When you guys fish bodies of water stocked with bluegill or sunfish or crappie, what do you throw to imitate them to catch the bass?

Just wondering how you guys rig your sweet beaver and what hook you use? I recently read that Tommy Biffle texas rigs his beaver with a 5/16 ounce worm weight and a tru tungsten peg weight. How about you? Also what is your favorite color?

Anybody have suggestions for a good jig to skip under docks in murky water? How 'bout trailers?

I fish some murky water, so ill throw a buzz early in the morning or in the evening. Theyre really good in muddy water because of their noise.

What do you think of using a seven inch senko in really muddy water? The bay I fish in doesnt have many lunkers but would the seven inch senko deter smaller fish or attract them because of its big profile? Anybody here have any suggestions for big worms to use in shallow muddy water? Thanks

I promise they will. I have caught 10" bass on 12" worms. You can fish smaller if your want. IMO it's just better to give a bigger profile bait in lowlight/low visibility conditions.

Down here in Westchester County just outside NYC the fish are done in the shallows i think. I spent 6 hours yesterday without a bite. Im fishing from the bank so I think im done for the year too.
