  1. Thank you for your contributions thus far. For those that said None of the Above, feel free to state your favorite. I am sure I missed some.
  2. What is currently the best crankbait line on the market?
  3. Has anyone had any success with this topwater? Colors used? It sounds like it provides a different presentation. Thanks
  4. Hey Bugman. Is the St Croix 7'3" really the deal? I am almost convinced. It sounds like it is very versatile. Although, my rods are very specialized. I can used a deep water C-Rig rod too. The pitching is really the intended usage. there are a lot of long, awkward choices out there. :-/
  5. I am also in the market for a new Pitchin' & Flippin' rod to put on my Castaic. I think I am going to go with the St. Croix Avid Series Casting model AC703MHF. I've had the longer 7'6" Heavy action rods out there and I find those awkward and insensitive. I pitch more than I flip anyway. Thats my take. Good Luck!
  6. I'd like to replace my telescopic 7'6" with a one-piece 7'3" or so. I find the 7 1/2' is a nuisance. Any make/model ideas for one at all or in the $100-$150 range?
  7. Ft. Lauderdale Store Manager confirms. No trade in for Shimano. Was precisely going to get one to. Will need to think of an alternate make now.
  8. Looks like I will disconnect the circuit breaker first to trouble shoot. I will gather some more great ideas like yours before I undertake the task by mid-week. thanks
  9. I have a Motorguide 768(with 12/24 switch) that quit working on 24v. My Stratos 279v has the factory wiring with 2 large A/C Delco trolling batteries in series that are 2+ years old . Both batteries have a fuse harness each and a circuit breaker on the postive posts. Fuses are in tact, batteries read green, but one of the circuit breakers does not reset(manual). It is one those small rectangle black breakers with the button. The motor runs only when switched to 12v. I realize it may be a slew of things, but maybe someone has had a similar problem. Help! :'(
  10. I think the tie wrap is the way to go with my bag. I will probably use some flex cuffs. A large split ring may also do the trick. You see my bag never had those clips. THe ends on both the strap and bag are stitched closed. thanks
  11. Thanks for giving it some thought. It is actually my second Pfleuger Supreme 370. They are pretty durable for the most part. I have no complaints. I think heavy gauge tie wrap may work also, huh?
  12. I need a Clever idea for the repair of my tackle bag. The plastic fixture that holds the shoulder strap to the tackle bag cracked off. Now I have loose strap that needs fastening. Help! >
  13. Thanks. I am siding toward low diameter braid for this application this year. I figure I lost a few fish by having slack in the line recently. We'll see.... I think braid sinks more that mono or Fluoro though. 8-)
  14. I am re-lining my gear. What is the consensus for line for Flukes and slugos?
  15. Thanks for the Pool Pole idea. I actually got in touch with the Track & Field coach at my old High school locally. He is going to come through with a Pole Vault for me. Look at me.....just like the Pros,ie '06 BASS Classic.
