  1. The Abu's do look great have not tried one but I have bought some of the New Skeet Reese Series Wright and McGill rods and they are sweet they are black and Yellow and are flashy but I like them and they have a lifetime warranty my local tackle shop will replace them on the spot. My favorite one is the 7'-6" Swimbait/Carolina Rig Rod. These rods are $89.99 almost everywhere I would check them out before I mad a decision they are designed for the Abu Garcia Revo's specifically but will work well with any reel. I dont think you can go wrong with them IMO. Good Luck!
  2. It is definitely the original Revo S. You can get them at Walmart all day for $99.
  3. I have had the same issues with them more than once. I always carry the catalog and or print the online price/ad. It is a good idea to do this because I have found that regular priced items in the catalog or online are cheaper than the store prices so I try and make a grocery list so to speak with prices to refer to it might only be .50 cents but it all adds up at the end. it is all a little deceptive if you ask me. But they always fix it. It may take extra time but they will make it right.
  4. I have definitely enjoyed the forum it is chalked full of info. Thanks for all the kind welcomes and PM's.
  5. I use and love the Yum Money Minnow in the 5-1/2" version. I have caught quite a few over 4lbs this year with it. The large mouth love them as well. I use them year round believe it or not. You won't load the boat with numbers but your average size will be greater on it. It is my go to bait.
  6. I like 5 and 1/2 inch Soft Plastic Swimbaits rig with a 6/0 1/4oz belly weighted Swim bait hook shanked hook not screw kind.
