We probley put down in augistine landing(spell ?)it's closer from my camp by penndelton brige,t.b..I've had some luck near there on top water,buck bay,those islands by buck bay,and rayburn park.willing to run anywhere if winds ant bad.Bringing a buddy that never been there. I would like to make a trip out of jackson hill if we get time but only going for 1 day.

haven't seen more report,nobody fishing rayburn no more,headed up there to fish tue. for one day.

went sun. morning 6 mile area,caught 2-3 lber and 1-4 lber on a frog, picked up a couple more small ones on a spinner bait.bait got slow later in morning.Talk to a guy that said he was murdering the bass in the same area last wed. and thur. on top water,he also said he caught a 8 lber and a 5 lber right before i got to he. :-[ on frog, about right,my luck.

thanks for the input guy's, i will try to go to BPS this weekend and check them out.

sound like most agree thet are worth the money. What about that wight of the rods are they light?

This may be a old ,but was wondering about some input on this rods n reels.Saw the reels where only 6.7 oz. saw one good report on them?thanks

He probely caught them in rayburn where he lost them 2 big one weekend before. ;D he should be in a new boat.

caught some good ones on rayburn findly, top water bite was alwsome,partner missed 2 monster's :'( he like's to jerk the bait out of there mouth,i ant going to say any name's : but he did put us on some good fish,he should be riding in a new ranger rig. ;D

went sat. only 4 small keepers,2 on spinner bait 2 on frog and missed 2 keepers. It wastn't the great for me.

going to rayburn this sat. hope to catch em like u did,my son would enjoy a 5 plus pounder.

I know it been all talk about TB,but has anyone have any reports on rayburn.Plan on bringing my son fish there (he's 10)for a second time.He fished his 1st all day tourny with me sun. out of morgan city, La. the lil fart caught 2 keepers that wighted in,and culled one of mine.Most likly fish by the 944 brige area maybe jackson HILL area.Only been up there 2-3 times,plane on gone sep.11? thANKS

I know this is a t.b. fourm,but any reports about rayburn lately? I have a tournament in a couple weeks. A guy i know caught some nice fish 2-3 weeks ago 38.- lbs. 2 day club tourny near the brige on spinner bait had said.

our club fishing t.b. sat. and sun. i couldn't make it. :-[ buddy of mine had 23.oo lbs today leading with a 10.3 lber. he caugth shallow with jig. 2nd place was 17lbs.. it's a 2 day tournament so let's see what happen's tomorrow.

just talk to a buddy that been on t.b. all week,said he's been catching alot but mostly 2-3 lbs.. He's fishing south tx. also said he heard of a 14 lber caught on texas side?and maybe a 2nd 14 lber. I had a ggod on for the lobi but lost her at boat,how many time's that happens :'(

i had a few buddy's that bombed too,some did good,I guest if u lucky to find them should stick with them.we went in circles for 2 days 20 yard area 2-3 feet water w/scattered grass.Looked like the worst the weather the better the bite was.Heard the same for other's too.go figure :-/

I fished the oilmans too,and had 15 lbs 1st day and 10 lbs 2nd day.We fished just norh of 1215 in back of a pocket,where we found pretty ,caught all on 1/4 0z. spinner bait that i make with a white colarodo in front, and on spro rattle trap.Lost a monster at boat first day,saw her good 8-10 lbs?.Caught 3 keepers during the hail and lighting strom.go figure,2-3 foot water,2nd day caught early then when sun came out became tuff for bite.The guy that won,i know well,but only told be he went north?dinn't get to talk much.Well we finish 52 ,cash a check.

Don't sound good for this weekend,L.a. oilmans.Maybe i shouldn't of paid the entry fee. It's been won many time up north,but with this condition it will be tuff.Someone will catch them, u can count on that.

Fishing T.B. wed. to sun. do u guy's think they will have some bedding fish,or still a lil early?Last year i was too late,about 2 weeks too late and missed them.

my partner and i fished the bassnbucks sat. it was tuff with post cold front cond.,plus snow didn't help,only 1 keeper but we had 1 monster got off would have hepled.not many bite for us.Then left rayburn to fish club open sun. down in marsh by morgan city La.,maniage to win with 12lbs. on a 1/4 oz. spinner bait that i make.fish bit earley there water temp was 46-50. back to bassnbucks. we used same pattern as last one in jan.16 and had real good sucess.Water temp dropped to 44-48. this time Looking forward to fish the LOBI FEB. 26-27 ON T.B. any info would be appr. i fish penndelton area,housen,blue lake.

this is my first reply,but have been reading these post I have a camp on t.b. on La. side by pennelton brige. I fish the carise area often and i have done good carolining a fluke across the under water brige before in MAY.
