  1. found them in the deeper water thanks for the help
  2. ya ive been fishing the winter park and maitland chain with no luck
  3. sorry didn't even think about that i do have a boat
  4. i catch them all the time using regular crankbaits most come off of lipless crankbaits. I even got a good size crappie on a 4in jerk bait last winter
  5. Hey guys, i have only been bass fishing about 9 months or so now and haven't a summer yet. Do you know any good lakes or rivers that they are biting on right now in the Orlando area. Also in general during the summer are they usually deeper? Any specific baits you throw in the summer? Thanks so much in advance.
  6. my girlfriend lives on lake Florence haven't caught a lot of big ones but a bunch of lil guys is still fun too got one 4lber out of it. Do pretty well on the Winter Park/Maitland chain of lakes specifically there is a small "pond" between lake Maitland and Minehaha called lake Nina my dad has a friend that lives on it and has caught a few 10lb plus in it. Other than that for a little drive i do well on the st johns plus its nice to get away from civilization even if you don't catch anything nature is fun.
  7. i just use a dehooker after watching the topfin of a channel cat go through my dads hand its just not worth messing with
  8. ya i almost took it home then i realized i was fishing in lake maitland. there is so much runoff of chemicals i wouldnt eat anything out of there.
  9. Id have to say patience. Waiting for the fish to take the bait, fishing worms slowly, etc.
  10. maybe a brim then how big
  11. if you caught it on hot dogs sounds like you caught a catfish
  12. says your in ohio so i assume the water is cold so id buy some waders but if the waters warm i wouldnt bother with them
  13. also learned alot here http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?virboard=Southeast;num=1253486034
