Boyesen dual stage reeds
I replaced my old motor on my 15' Grumman bass boat with a 2003 Mercury 25 hp that came with a nice stainless prop . I live on the Delmarva Peninsula (Chesapeake Bay) and fish alot of shallow rivers and ponds. I already put a CMC PL35 trim unit on that works well to help perfomance and was just looking to see if anything else could help. Thanks for the input guys

Anyone ever try these reeds.

black and blue lures
It may be the food source in your area has a different hue than a black and blue jig does. Crawfish have almost a rainbow of colors depending on a large number of factors. I live on the Delmarva Peninsula (Chesapeake Bay) and black and blue jigs with same color trailer produce above almost all colors. Jigs are my favorite baits to fish and I experiment with all color combinations to try to be a better fisherman.Good luck on the water guys.

Bonita bass boat
They mostly built saltwater boats and tried to get into the bass boat market but couldn't get a big enough market for their product.

Revo Premier $129
Got one yesterday, tough to come of that kind of money even when they are on sale! Alot different than forking out 65 dollars for my last 4600 (that was about a decade ago)

Changed my bluegill pattern a bit
CCP I wonder what that color pattern would look like with chartreuse interference scales?

Changed my bluegill pattern a bit
CCP nice variation of your buegill color. I haven't had a chance to throw the 2 baits you just painted for me (your standard bluegill pattern) because of the blizzard. You paint a mean crankbait!

How do you apply the powder paint. I am thinking of getting a powder airbrush to do my jigs with from Barlow's.

Fishing for bass in a tanic river (the Pocomoke river)
Hi Stratos 375, I think looking at Leonards lake from Google Earth may be a little deceiving for the most part same old lake. They put in a new ramp a while ago and the right prong is silting in a lot, can be a great spot to fish.

Trevor, I just remembered that Woo Daves has a dvd about tidal water fishing that Bass Pro sells. My wife and I met him at the Timonium bass show in the 1990's great guy and hec of a tidal water fisherman. ( they sell a box set of his dvd's for 14.95)

Fishing for bass in a tanic river (the Pocomoke river)
Hi Trevor, I live in Salisbury and fish the Pocomoke all of the time. You may be a little too focused on the color of the water, while it matters it isn't as important as technique. I would start in shallow water with a spinnerbait or a shallow crankbait like a minus one or a ratltrap this spring. Colors could be firetiger, gold black back or chrome black or blue back. And as for worms or jigs black with blue or chartreuse always works. Good luck
