    Thanks for the reply. I use the boat for bass fishing and trolling for walleye. I hadn't decided whether to put it on the trolling motor or transom. I will locate the display in the bow. I thought the transom might cause more problems because it would be right next to the other transducer. So, you are saying there should be no problem with either location?

    I would like to install a second fish finder to my boat, either on the trolling motor or tramsom. The original transducer is mounted on the transom. Will they interfere with each other? Can I run both off one transducer? Any help would be appreciated.
