Curious as to how the easy weight change system works on the gamakatsu drop/split shot hooks.

i know penicl poppers are a hot bait when the bass are busting herring, never used them but want to try this yr. They also use them on the savannah river alot for stripers

I read in a magazine to place the front hook on the back and put a size 2 treble on the front. They say the added weight keeps the lure from rolling over when burning it. I was gonna swap some out to see how it worked but they look way too big. Has anyone tried this?

can you fish it with the live bait attached, or was that just an example to show the resemblance. i've fished crappie jigs tipped with minnows would this be the same?
