I met him at the Toronto Spring fishing show a few years ago, he seemed like a nice guy & talked to every body how stopped by the booth when I was there, lots of autographs signed Sbking

We don't fish for lmbass in the spawn, season doesn't open til 4th Saturday in June but have had Smallies on beds at the end of July, makes for some great fishing Sbking

I drift local rivers backwards in my canoe and do very well throwing crankbaits up stream & bringing them by the rocks, wood or any other structure, also small profile heavier spinnerbaits to get them down or back to plastic just about any thing that gets down deep enough Sbking

Took a buddies 13 yr old fishing last year half a dozen times, he caught his 1st Pike, biggest Rock bass & lots of sm & lmbass, but when I took my father & uncle Smallie fishing in Nov 42 degree water & not much warmer air temp, my uncle said that was the best day on the water he had & he only landed 1 smallie 21.5" long & lost 6 more but they all came out of the water and put up a great fight, nothing like converting a salmon & trout fisherman to a BASS fisherman, they will be back Sbking

5years old fishing at the Thames River in London as we were leaving I threw my rod off the bridge saying it wasn't any good because it didn't catch fish, still hear about that at 49yrs old, uncles get lots of laughs Sbking

I have a 16' & 17' canoe that I don't use enough now that I have a 14' boat, but my 3 yr old grand daughter is going to be starting canoeing this year, good enough reason to get back at it, I bought a Fishing Buddy yrs ago & the problem with it is it shakes the whole canoe when you are moving any speed at all & in rapids you always had to lift it out, I thought of out riggers but I like going backwards down the river as much as possible & thought they would be a pain in the butt in rapids or shallow water Sbking

UPS VT how did you do in your tournament, was it the BASS event that you fished Sbking
