Has anyone been on laurel lake smallmouth fishing i keep hearing the bite is good but i still feel the water is too cold any help or info would be nice thank you

This lake is beautiful but the fishing from my experience was slow i threw a deep diver and got nothing and then i through a worm and still nothing and then i threw a chartouse top water popper and caught a boat load however this was in may but if u was to come down here in april your best bet would be to try minniows until you found the fish then you can take a jig and hand pick em i hope you enjoy your experience
