I live in eastern ky and I plan on going to ky lake this weekend for the 1st time. I have a small 17 ft. aluminum boat and I am looking for a fishing spot that the water won't be too rough. Any launch ramp suggestions?

I use a 3/0 or 4/0 gamakatsu ewg, weightless, and texas rigged. For the style of fishing I do (6 feet to surface) it is the best producing bait I have. I would suggest white pearl coloration.

The reason I ask is that my uncle had a lure he used in TN that REALLY darted side to side. Ive looked at videos of the ones rapala makes and they just aren't the same. If anyone has ever fished for big game with a "Manta", i'm looking for a smaller version of that.

I know they do for larger fish (musky), but do they make a lure that sweeps side to side when you jerk it for bass?
