  1. They get bigger and once you find out what they want, you can have a hay day. Keep trying new stuff and when you get frustrated, go back to the stuff that works to regain confidence.
  2. Keep trying craw imitators and you'll find em stacked up eventually. While searching use a twister tail grub on a 1/8 oz. jighead to cover water swiftly.
  3. crestliner is nailing it on the head.
  4. once they get bigger, you'll really be hooked!!
  5. That's one heck of a day. I love when they eat anything you throw at them. I wish our opener would hurry up and get here, all you guy are making me realllllllyyyy jealous!!
  6. I'll be askin for some of them lucky crafts and maybe 3 fish 15 pounds. Nice HAWG!!!!
  7. Way more ways to fish. Texas rigged plastics of any kind is my fav.
  8. I love when you are fishing a soft plastic and don't even feel a nibble, but your line starts floating away from you and then you say to your buddy "There's one right now!" and bam you bear down and set that hook. Oh, man nothing makes me smile more. ;D
  9. Shimano and Daiwa make really smooth, reliable middle grade reels that I think you should definately look at. If you save your money from now until opener, in minnesota it isn't until may, you could probably buy a nice upper grade model. Something to think about and you will feel that much more confident in your equipment.
  10. Nice poll. Soft plastics all the way. Can you say "Watermelon Candy" Zoom U-Tail worm?
