Update on my purchase from gamestop. Now before i start this story i understand their side of it but it still seems stupid to me. Now remember i have bought consoles and games with this exact debit card before. So now to the story. I bought a 360 bundle and black ops. Well black ops was listed as shipped yet the bundle hasn't. After 10 mins on hold i talked to a rep and he said my shipping and billing addys didn't match. I said ok well what do you have and here is what he had 607 Woodham Cir. Opp, AL 36467 607 Woodham Cir Opp, AL 36467 Do you see any difference. Yep the . at the end of Cir because of this they could not ship the console. So needless to say i went to the local wallyworld and bought one yesterday. So keep that in mind if u order from Gamestop. Rant is done.

I have had both rods and i would go veritas all day long. I like these rods alot more than the vandetta. Also the 7'M might be a little underpowered for c-rigs IMHO I have been using the 7'mh and it feels bout right for c-rigs and t-rigs. Just a thought.

Well after going through 3 xbox 360's i finally broke down and bought another one today. Got the 250gb holiday bundle with alan wake forza3 and 1600 micro points and a copy of Black Ops (yes i like the game) but i also play alot of cod4 and gow2 so hit me up with some gamertags and we will get our game on. Sweet kit Francho. I have played for years but unfortunately had to sell my kit to pay for school years ago and never got back into it. I had a Mapex maple jazz kit. I loved that thing. I could put my whole kit easily into the back of the car. Small kit but such a sweet sound.

Took my dad out today for his 63rd bday. It was really TOUGH but we were able to manage. I did catch one good fish she was 6lb even. Was really hoping for my dad to catch a good one. Caught her on a chart/blk H20 squarebill in about 7ft. She put up NO fight at all. Pops had a great time was a beautiful day so we can't complain.

I really liked them. from their website they started out making sunglasses for moutain bikers and other extreme sports and wanted to get into fishing. The vendor also told me that costa bought into the business when it was sold. oh ed btw. love your vids

Hey guys well I am in desperate need of some new sunglasses. I have tried costas, wiley x's and oakleys so I was in the market for something new. Tried a pair of Natives today and the retailer said they are fairly new to our area (south alabama) I really like these glasses i tried on the wazee model. Wife is wanting to get me something for christmas so was looking at these. Have any of you guys tried this brand and if so any positives or negatives before we ditch out a 100 bucks. Thanks

Well me and my buddy went to Lake Jordan yesterday and I left my rods in his boat. This morning it is just too pretty to be inside so my wife my little girl and myself decided to get out. We went to my buddys house to get my rods. After picking them up me and my wife suggested going to a local pond and catching a fish for my little girl (13 month) to see. Pulled up at the pond grabbed the spinning rig with a shakey head and casted. After about 5-6 casts the little one is getting anxious so I tell her momma to bring her to me. I squat down so she can sit on my knee and as I shake she turns the handle a few seconds later the bite expecting a dink i tell her to hold on. I set the hook and immediately know its a good fish. Not being able to fight the fish and hold on to her I call for momma. Fought the fish for a few seconds thinking of how to get this fish in from the bank and with 10lb. fluro. The fish jumped twice just to let me know how big it was. With momma freaking out i knew i had to land this fish. Get it to the bank and she starts stripping drag. Next thing I know pop she was gone. The fish was easily 7+ I felt so bad I couldnt get that fish in. She did get to see a dink though but it just didnt equal out. btw she liked the slimy fish ;D

I have 3 myself. had two 6.4.1 from last year and they worked flawlessly. I actually like them alot I quit buying revos because these are such great reels for the money. Got a new 7.1.1 last week going to put it to the test on some big spots @ Lake Jordan tomm (hopefully) I will post and let u know how it worked. But yes i love the two I used last year.

Sam if that is the case I will come to Virginia and roll around on the floor with you. That would be soooo awesome especially living in Bama with all these gumps and the plaineagles

I looked at all of mine and cant really tell if it is a sleeve or not. It looks like they had to taper the rod for the lockdown nut. From the reel seat to the butt it is the same size. The lockdown nut appears to be the same size on all of the rods. Im not a rod builder but i can say it doesnt look like or feel like a sleeve but u know how these rod manufacturers are they are some tricky dudes

Didn't we just see that last year? Yeah we did the game was so irrelevant i guess i forgot :-/

I predict Auburn and Oregon winning out and playing in the NC. I feel like LSU will win out and play in a BCS bowl. And it would be totally awesome to see TCU and Boise play in a BCS bowl game against each other.

VERITAS

Are you talking true flipping? Or flipping and pitching? If you are going to do any pitching i would use the MH. Alot depends on what your going to be fishing on a regular basis. But I actually use a 7' 3" Veritas for all my flipping and pitching and it has suited me fine.

I have had 3 Vandettas and now I only have one and I am trying to get rid of it. I now own 4 Veritas and wanting another. They are 10x better rods than the Vandetta. Have a completely exposed reel seat so sensitivity and comfort jumps up alot with just those two aspects. Weight feels substantially lighter. I hated the rough metal end cap it always dug into my ribs on hookset. With the Veritas that is not in the equation. I have th 7'3" MH Veritas which I use for jigs, the 7" MH for plastics, 7' M for square bills and topwater the 6'9" for spinnerbaits and buzzbaits. Going to buy a 7' M spinning for my shakey heads soon. I LOVE these rods.

He was using both in the vid Sam but the one he broke was the Verdict. It really doesnt matter guys after using the Veritas since the release date I now have 4 of them and absolutely LOVE them. Very Happy ;D

I've never been able to see right since. I am seeing terrible playcalling on Sat. now and i don't know why : The first pair all the rubber just fell off of the legs (fathom) the second pair the lens cracked when they fell off my head onto the deck of the boat (fathom) and the third pair all the rubber came off and started getting hazy and i couldnt get them cleaned or whatever they need to be very clear (harpoon) I didnt abuse them they just didn't hold up. The Wiley's are tanks i have dropped them and beat them to death and they are still holding up. A few scratches on the lens but in great shape.
