bps extreme 6'10" is on sale right now for $69 great rod for the money very sensitive and very tough. reel is like ford-n-chevy so make a choice. i suggest 7.1.1 to really winch them out.

I have a pro qualifier and LOVE IT. I used it 3 weeks ago @ Lake Eufaula and it was around 45 degrees and slight rain @ take off and i had a few layers on (hoodie, long sleeve, jeans) and i fished comfortable all day. I love it. Havent really used it during summer yet. They dont seem very heavy at all and i have the bibs and parka i would suggest the parka just for more coverage i guess. But i think it would be ok to wear during early summer rain showers. Best $$$ for fishing i have ever spent.

Here in AL with alot of brush and stuff on ledges and such i like to have it tied on my carolina rig with a lighter leader. besides that i really cant think of anything else besides flipping rigs.

I have use the H2O some and i love them. the finish is great has great hooks and swims great. the rattles are kinds subtle too which i like @ times.
