hey guys might be a dumb question but i dont know the answer. is there any universal spinning reel handles out there. if not do u guys know of any aftermarket handles for pfluegers. i really have the rosewood handle but love the reel. thanks

Took my fishing buddy out today for her first trip this year and she had a good day caught a few and missed a few. Had a great time. Temp. was in the 80's today here in bama just a beautiful day. Gotta take the wifey fishing so i can hit a tourney in the morning ;D Here is a pic of her new PB

k thx for the feedback guys. i fish the alabama river and coosa river chain lakes alot. do u guys think a faster reel might help a little like when they are pulling water. im used to a pflueger 6.4.1 and it seemed fine but at times seemed a little slow. but idk if it was the reel or me.

hey guys looking to get another revo sx for a spinnerbait reel. it will me on a st. croix 7' spinnerbait rod. what gear ratio would u recommend using 6.4.1 or 7.1.1 I will be throwing 3/8-1 oz spinnerbaits in 8 ft or less of water. around everything u can imagine. thanks

Hey guys got off of work today @ 4 decided to load up 2-man boat and hit a pond. Hammered em on brush hog's and dingers. got 2 try out my new revo. fished for 2 hrs. and caught 23. averaged 2.5-3 lbs biggest being this: I know the length was 23" didn't get to check girth and didnt have scales. wut u guys think she will weigh??

I am a fan of the Strike King Series 6 and the Bomber Fat Free. Both have great quality, depth, and durability. Deff. wont go wrong with those two choices. The Norman Series of deep divers are great too (dd-17 dd-22)

yeah viscious flouro is horrible. i have two spools in the shop and refuse to use it. I really like the xps flouro from bass pro. and it is on sale for $12 a 200 yd spool too (online only) cant beat that deal.

I will be using this combo exclusively for deep cranking. I will be throwing dd17 dd22 and series 6 and a few bomber deep divers. what reel would u guys suggest i have been using a mid-grade pflueger for this task and i really dont trust it. any suggestion would be apprecited. oh spending range is up to $150 give or take. thx

Are u close to an academy sporting goods? if so they were selling the summits for $79 @ the academy here in Alabama. Cant beat that deal

I have a lucky wore out faded adidas wristband on my right wrist any time i fish. doesnt really help or anything but i have worn it for years playing paintball and it brought me luck then so i thought it would help with fishing. Only bad thing is the obnoxious tan line.

Nope got a few packs of yum dingers but that is as close to senkos i got yeah alot of stuff is missing the boxes on top are full from loading up for a tourney (which didnt go well at all btw > ) Lets see some pics guys. I get alot of good shop ideas from peeps pics.

I have one of those exact pflueger for a year and a half now and they are OK reels. 30 yrs OK probably not. they are there mid range reels but u did get a good deal the reel itself usually sell for 79 i think and the rod sells for 75 give or take so yeah good deal i think.

my friend bought one @ the classic used it yesterday in a tourney and complained about the rod the whole day. said it was waaaay to heavy and awkward feeling with his quantum energy. he said it felt like he was going to drop it the whole day. just really awkward.
