Swimbaits in Hyrdrilla
I am just curious to if anyone produces a swimbait that can be fished around hydrilla. Here in south louisiana we have many shallow flats with clear water 3 to 4 feet deep on top of hydrilla. I think a swimbait would be effective but not sure which could be thrown around cypress trees and grass.

Power of Curado with 7.3 ratio
I am looking for a new reel and really like the curado. I am putting it on a flippin stick to pitch jigs and soft plastics. I am just curious to how strong these reels are at pulling fish out of hydrilla and other cover. I have a Pfleuger 7:1 ratio reel and it seems to lack the power of the 6.3's. Thanks for the help!

High water help!
I fish in the atchafalaya spillway and the rain has rose the lake up way above normal. the fishing has been terrible since the hurricane fish kill and the high water isnt helping anything. I believe the fish have moved up with the water into unfishable waters in large areas of flooded swamp. there is little to no land left in the area. do you think the fish have moved up shallow? if not where would they be? thanks

tough question
i fish henderson lake in louisiana and we recently had a fish kill caused by the hurricanes. the fishing was descent but when the bass were about to begin spawning we got a lot of rain and the lake rose way above normal. the bass all moved into the woods im guessing because i cant catch a bite at all. will the bass wait for the water to lower before they begin spawning. also would any bass stay in deeper water? the water temp is around 60 degrees which is cold for this lake. any help would be appreciated. thanks
