yea im just more ticked that i couldnt get the hook set. Im trying to get on some larger fish. I cant seem to catch a bass over 2lbs.

Yea i only eat green fish I like them blackend. But ill keep 2lbers and under everything larger then that gets released

i go all the way through and then tuck it in a little. just make me sick because the 3 best fish i had today came off of the ika but the didnt stay hooked .

Yea i thought about that. You think maybe higher pound test line or a stiffer rod?

Caught a few fish not any big ones though.

I finnally went out and tried the fat ika today had 3 fish on in the first 10 minutes but could not get a good hookset or something they all got off. changed to a shaky head and crank bait and caught 25. I was thrown the fat ika on a Berkley Bionix 6'6" medium action rod, abu garcia spinning reel 8# trilene xl 3/0 EWG GAMA hook. it was rigged skirt first weightless.

ive got 8lb on my spinnin real, Medium rod should that be ok?

I bought some fat ikas today and was wondering are they a decent bait for spring fishing, the water is warming up we have had a couple of days in the 70's to low 80's. also have read use light line and rig it backwards is that a good idea right now?

they have a lot of odd colors lol whats some good ones for clear and stained

I hear a lot of yall talking about these things, where can i find some to try them out, i have never seen them. what are some good uses for em also t-rig c-rig Drop shot?

when a dropshot is rigged,...... do you just nose hook it ? or some other methed. i have always wondered this.

When to use what size weight? For worms,craws ect..... i have always just used 3/16oz bullet weights, but what situations call for less or more weight?

I hear this all the time "Match the Hatch" i have no idea how do i find this out im kinda new to all this.

How the heck can i tell the water clarity and decide the best bait color for it. I hear it all the time but have never known how to determine it.

Im not looking to spend a-lot of cash for em but what are good brands. also what are a couple of must have color right now all i know is sexy shad because thats all i hear about. Also what sizes should i use. Like if im fishing in 15ft of water should i get one that runs 15ft ?

Caught this little thing today. not big but put up a good little fight.

went out today caught a few nothing of any size... one actually flew over the boat when i set the hook.

Where are the fish holding...? Will be making a trip tomorrow just wondering.
