I have the 7'3" med/hvy casting and the 7'1" med spinning, love them both. I have heard a of of people complain about the seat, but I have no issues with it. Super sensitive, very well crafted, for the money i spent on them, I have no complaints, I would buy more if I needed them.

When I was growing up, if you misbehaved you got smacked, and if someone messed with my family, they got smacked. I have a bunch of hawg caller baits, unopened. I have never even used the brand, I think I picked them up as part of a lot.

I have a couple of Omens and 1 veritas. While I love my Omens, I cant stand my Veritas, I am actually going to sell it. I really dont like the feel and it's definitely too stiff for the rating. I have the 7' M/H micro guide. Not a fan of the micros either. I have only fished it twice, but thats all it took for me.

They have some great colors, match the forage in your area, I use a bluegill pattern and an all bait. They catch fish, bass and pickerel, probably equal amounts of both up here.

I prefer it, but some guys like to back reel instead of relying on drag.

I like to start with a jig, then if thats not working I go to something else, and usually come back to it.

I have been using that method for over 30 years now, the only difference being the person holding the spool.
