Untill I upgraded my fishing equipment all I used was bass pro stuff and I remember people being sarcastic with me all the time about using bps gear. I don't care what anyone says about bass pro stuff. They bought out the new carbonlite micro guide casting rods, made a new casting reel that's called Enigma that weighs 7.6 ounces with anti-backlash technology.( the same technology that some reel companies charge $500.00 for), and they re-introduced the Bionic Blade with split grips and made that series of rods 15% lighter. Still a little disappointed that they couldn't find a way to slim down the pro qualifier but I'm pretty impressed with them so far.

Warmouth, that is EXACTLY the handle I'm talking about! I know that BPS carries handles, but I want the ones just that on that quantum reel.

Really??? Guess I'll just have to ask them. I was just @ BPS yesterday, but I never considered that option. I live in Wisconsin so our closest store is in gurnee IL, but our market isn't as big on bass fishing compared to other regional stores. But its still worth a shot. Thanks for the reply. Taron.

Does anybody on this board know where I can get these reel handles? Just to give u an idea of what it looks like the US REEL supercaster pro and I think the older quantum tour edition had them. I would like to put these handles on BPS pro qualifiers. Someone please help me..thanks alot.

Kikstand, thanks for replying. This boat is my dream rig also. If I pull the gun on this, I'm gonna put two lowrance hds10 w/lss, 36 volt minnkota terrova with co-auto-ipilot, a powler pole, and maybe a aqua vu mav. Like yourself, I can go from fishing 100 arce lakes with stumps to rivers as tough as they come to certain great lakes. It's the ULTIMATE package to me

O..and just in case you guys or gals are wondering what kind of motor(hp) I'll have rigged on here it would be a mercury optimax 115 hp with a mercury fury stainless steel prop. Thanks for all of those who reply

I wanted to know what are your thoughts on this boat? Im am VERY seriously considering buying this baby. I know it's a jon boat..but at 21''8 and with a 96 inch beam(i think),and the fact that is all welded i think it can be way more than that. Would you take this out on large bodies of water?? What are your thoughts on this boat??
