  1. I made a massive order when I got back from that trip. I ordered a little bit of every major brand!!?? the bait keeper seems to always be the Achilles heel of all flipping hooks.
  2. I had the biggest bag ever this past Saturday. I had 23lbs total and in that bag I had a 7 pounder! I even wore out a Gamakatsu flipping hook. Best yet I caught them how I wanted to catch them, flipping stick, braid, and wood! Glory be to God for His creations of these green backs!! tight lines folks! More pics:
  3. The instruction say for higher temp, lower time. The colors are just out of this world man. Pro-tech are awesome, but these BOSS paints are on another level.
  4. I am really liking these BOSS Powder Paints.
  5. Man this is my second one and I am beyond impressed! They come out the mold easy, and look so “perty” Top notch for sure.

I like that black in there. It looks fuller. How many strands you use?

My attempt at a golden shiner! This lure making stuff is so addicting. I’ve really had a blast these last couple of days messing around with lures.
  11. 100% Autobot!!!! ???
  12. I was watching a live stream from Debo fishing and some other jig dudes, and the gave me a pretty cool idea for a build. One tab of black and blue, pb&j, and a tab of of green pumpkin. The idea is to you can use 3 different types of trailers. I liked the idea and made my own. Let’s see if it catches fish!
  13. Black and red.
  14. First fish on first cast with my first diy jig!! only fish I caught in about and hour and a half of fishing! Catching a fish with a bait you made from scratch was pretty cool. 1/2oz black and red arky jig.
  15. Yes Sir, it’s the Owner 5317 that I bent out. I’ll get that Mustad 32824 and try them. Thanks again Smalljaw67 for your expertise!
  16. Thank you so much! I thought the owner 3x jig hook was going to be enough, but it still opens up after a few fish. I fish some narly stuff on a 7’2” H action rod and 50lb power pro. Thanks again Smalljaw67! I guess I’ll keep using the Hack attacks and the Dirty jigs.
  17. Is there a custom flipping jig mold that accepts the Gamakatsu Siwash Hook? Does Gamakatsu make a 30 degree or 60 degree Siwash jig hook? I know Dirty Jigs and Strike King uses them, but I would like to pour my own. Thanks in advance.
  18. Just got my order of Grid Iron jigs from https://siebertoutdoors.com and all I can say is wow. Finish is perfect, the skirts are perfect, the weed guard are centered not to stiff and glued right, the owner hook is a monster, and the wire tie is excellent! Thank you siebertoutdoors for such an excellent product. Truly unmatched, I am a hardcore jig guy and these are simply the best jigs you can buy for the money. Thanks,
  19. I just had a machinist greaten the radius of the hook eye. I saw him do it, and it didn’t take him 5 minutes per slot. He was done in about 15-20 minutes.
  20. It’s a poison tail I had a machinist modify to accept those hooks.

I think I found the hooks for my heavy duty swim jigs. I know I know, I should have gotten the Hack Attack swimjigs and be done with it, but I really wanted to make my own. I like them! The hooks used are the Mustad 32850NP and the VMC 7217.
  22. I am ready to hit the water this weekend Lord willing!
  23. Got these done this morning. The weedguard is jacked up in this one, but I did fix it on the others.
