  1. 1- Spinnerbait 2- t-rig plastics 3- Lipless cranks of course I only have a handful of fish NOT caught on those 3 baits :'(
  2. For my spinnerbaits I have been using the 3' berkley grubs(the small ones)
  3. 99% of my fishing is from the bank at ponds. Luckily, where i live you can stop at almost any retention pond around here and get something. And most of the phosphate pits have decent bank fishing
  4. for a non boater, I would love to have something like that. However, being in freshwater or saltwater down here, the stuff in the water that is the size of a kayak that wouldn't mind eating me. I'm thinking about a bass raider type boat, personally.
  5. I would have to say I've learned the most here.

Hello everyone, I'll start off by saying thanks to everyone here.. I've been lurking around for the last month and I've learned so much in that little time. About a month ago I picked up fishing again after about 15 years. I did a good bit of fishing in high school with a few friends. One rod/reel, a pack of red shad worms and maybe a rat-l-trap in my pocket. Well a month ago my Girlfriend won a ultra lite spinning combo at work and I went out a few times and re-caught the fishing bug. I'm just shore fishing, but, luckily where i live I have a ton of places to go. My best day since i started back up was out a Tenoroc. In the morning I caught a little 1lb bass on my first cast of the day and about an hour later pulled a 5lbr out from under a pier. I went back in the after noon and caught 3 more 1lb and 2 2.5-3lbrs. In a short time me and the monkey have done some damage to my savings account. I have a respectable tackle box and waist pack. 2 casting setups and a spinning. I do have a spinnerbait all star rod on the way from *** and the Quantum Catalyst that is on sale at Cabelas. Along with a few more lures that i need to learn how to fish. Thanks for having me and the info that is freely passed around.
