  1. "Do not fish docks that have people on them unless it is a bikini clad coed and in that case give that dock extra attention." ;D
  2. Sometimes people can be totally inconsiderate and dangerous! I have had a number of jet skis and non-fishing boats feeling like they can come within 30 feet of my kayak at full speed! I can't even flip 'em off because I have to hold on tight! >
  3. Charlie Moore OutDoors "The Mad Fisherman"!!! Love the Bahston accent!
  4. Hey all. Looking for some insights from maybe more seasoned anglers here in the northeast. Despite the early spring here in southern Maine the water is still cold and the bass are just starting to turn the corner out of their sluggishness. When you are targeting these early spring bass (both largies and smallies) what are your "go to" baits and techniques? Would love to hear what to try as I head out this weekend! Thanks all!
  5. They were makin' sweet love...so try a ....nevermind
  6. When I picked up fishing again in my early 30's with my two girls, we were fishing out of a canoe for bass or whatever. Had gone to Wal-mart and stocked up on whatever lures we found. One was a football head jig. Didn't realize that trolling with a jig (without the pig) wouldn't be all that effective (this was not a swim jig)!!!
  7. Hello from the great state of Maine. I fish primarily from an Ocean Kayak Prowler 13 (big yellow banana). Love both large and smallmouth fishing! I am a senko and sluggo addict but also love creature baits! Look forward to learning and sharing! Cheese
