they're so many different top water lures out there (walk the dog, poppers, and buzzbaits) How do you know whats the right one for the right situation?

im from northern wisconsin and have been looking into buy some crankbaits. The only colors that bps and others have are all shad colors. i have never seen a shad in my life and i doubt the bass here have either. what are some good non-shad colors to imitate bluegill and other natural forage of the north?

whats a good way to fish for spawning bass if the water clarity is about 1 foot and you cant sight fish?

i just got back from fishing and after not getting a whole lot i went back in and saw bluegills making their beds behind my dock. what does that mean as far as the bass spawn? are they spawning? post spawn? pre spawn?

I have 5 St. Croix rods and I absolutely love them. I have two of the mojo series and they have lasted me three years. For $90 they are a great deal. I have a 6'8 finesse and a 7'6 flipping and they are perfect. If you have the opportunity to go to the headquarters (park falls WI) do it! I got all 5 for under $200! If you go there you can get any of the mojo series for 1/2 price because they messed up on the paint job! I got the flipping pole for 40 and the finesse for 25!

what are some tactic you use while fishing buzzbaits around shallow wood and cover? what are the best conditions to do so?

can a 14 or 15 inch bass eat a 5 in swim bait?

im thinking 5 or 6 ot but im not sure wide gap or what brand

every time i try it spins right off, causing me to flip, any suggestions or tips??
