fish are going to die on you for what ever. gut hook, pulling them out 30ft of water in the summer and so on. thare is allways somebody ready to take them home for a fish fry. nothing wrong with that.

Talk about a FAT check when I front end my wife (shes about 400lb) she comes up front with me and water comes over the bow. I try not to front end her.

You beat me to it. I was going to say the samething.looks like a desperate attempt to look good and to try to draw some members.I think the letter is a fake. The aba district i used to fish out of west tennessee struggles to get ten boats. We had a north mississippi district the director got mad and quit. He and I and a few worked hard to get it going but did not get any help from the aba they said it up to you its your district. I did not understand that. Who's trial is it anyway. I was not getting payed. the director was getting $6.00 a boat and spending $100.00 on gas to get there for a 6 man tournament.

i guess they don't see the need for fast good riding boats on Minnesota small lakes ;D

good point dumbbasses most of the A.B.A. southeast can't hardly get full fields. the north mississippi A.B.A. director got mad and quit. theres some local trials paying 80% to 90% at the ramp and close to home. most of us are going to fish these. the heck with the national trials gas is to much

you are wrong on who giving who a paycheck. WE give the organization a paycheck from are entry fee and memberships..... (different from NFL or baseball).... paying winnings is something fishing tournaments have to do to have a trail or (business)......... catt... i have tried the proper channel of authority with a certain organization with no results.

i fish 3 time a week at the least. i love fishing. fished over 30 aba tournaments in the last 3 years alone. and there no telling how many other tournaments i fished. i'm just telling my experinces and what i seen. after all this is a info site. you don't have to fish tournaments to go fishing.

putput... something like that happen to me by a aba director you seen it on another post i'm shure. he said all kind of rude thing to me i reported it he still working for the aba. i guess it depends on who you are

i did not call you a fool, i said you got fooled. i know all about the aba been there done that. and still a member. and talk to people on the inside or (in the know).

just found out i got kicked off the aba message board. they must of seen something they did not like. oops. and i'm a payed member! never posted anything negative on their board. nothing on it anyway but directors and old members kissing butt to get in the hall of fame. no info at all. unlike this board, you can get all the info you need. guess i won't be fishing with them next year. theres not a ms. district anymore the director quit (he got kicked off the message board too.) theres so many other trails to fish. i'm not orignaly from ms. i'm from Illinois. i got alot of friends and relatives that fish tournaments in wi. in. il. and they don't like what they are hearing. its a snow balling affect.

i think what he is saying he can fish for fun and not fish tournments. if you payed two memberships to fish one trail you got fooled. and the members pay the bills. without members you got no trial. and i agree with that.

i rather make the $100.000, fishing just don't pay the bills. i don't have to fish tournaments. i can just fish for fun.

(shoot) b.a.s.s. weekend series and a.b.a. are not having good turn outs look at the tourn. results. a.b.a. can.t get 10 boats a tourn.
