  1. Hi Guys! looking to get out on Lake Massabesic tomorrow morning, have never been there so I was wondering where the best place to toss a kayak in was? thanks in advance
  2. Oh wanted to add, I spoke to a kid that said a friend of his got 9lb. lmb in Mill pond Nashua.... Didn't know bass that large could be had in this area..fish story perhaps?
  3. Got out to Robinson pond in Hudson today. Got a few lmb and crappie...no piks :-) Sloooow
  4. Hey Nashua, do you know if it's ok to toss a kayak in at that spot? I have fished there many times with no luck but would love to head up and down that stretch.
  5. Got out today and spent most of the morning at Naticook. Only got a few dinks and after about my 25th pickerel decided to head somewhere else for the afternoon. Headed over to Mill pond near the Conway arena. Caught a bunch of crappie and some smaller lmb. After a hour or so I sent a soft crayfish under a log along the shoreline and hooked into my personal best! 5lbs... I had an audience of people walking and jogging LOL I did see a lot of huge lmb cruising and I didn't realize there were such large ones in there. I had one come right up beside me in my kayak and it scrared the crap out of me!! Overall great day! Except the sunburn, gonna need some aloe.
  6. Hi Guys! Took the kayak out for the first time yesterday, went over to Flint's pond in Hollis.6-7LMB all about 1 1/2lbs. Everything I caught was along the right side along the houses shoreline, lots of pickerel
  7. I think tomorrow is going to be a perfect day to burn a vacation day Where to go Where to go!!
  8. Whew!! just ran down to check that scale, the outside ring of numbers is lbs. and the inside is Kg....4 pounder
  9. OMG! did I read the scale wrong? I am a moron :-[ Had to be bigger than 2lbs though, it was 17" long :-/
  10. This little guy had me cracking up ;D
  11. Got out to Flints(Hollis) this morning and got my PB, I know it's nothing compared to you other guys but I could not get the smile off my face all morning. Place has been torn up with all the dredging but the fish jumping on my lines all morning. On a bad not I have not caught that many Pickerels in a long time, pretty big ones also.. Here some pics
  12. Let me know how it goes, I may do Lovewell Thursday am
  13. Wasn't to bad, they have the skid lined up pretty good so I climbed right off of it into the kayak.I do think if you have lousy balance you could get a bit wet though
  14. I just loaded up my kayak and I will be at Lovewell around 5:30-6am I'm gonna park right on 111a near the jersey barriers that bock that road.My kayak only weighs 40lbs. so I'll carry mine in(about 100 yards at most). You will see some wooden long skids along the shoreline. I'll chime in and post how it goes. Got out to Lovewell and caught about 20 crappy in 3 hours, lost at least that many. At one point they were being caught on every cast LOL.All of them were under 1 1/2 lb. but those things were whacking hard at anything I threw at them, watching them jump out of the water for the popper was a riot!

  16. Lovewell is right on the Nashua/Hollis line http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=lovewell%20pond%20nashua%20nh&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl No bass that I know of but it LOADED with black crappy and they are a blast Lots of huge picks also... Carry in only
  17. Think I'm gonna do a little kayak fishing at Lovewell tomorrow(Sunday) early morning, anybody interested? I was there yesterday and it looks like somebody made a little platform out of skids and there is an opening to get through the moat. I don't have a cart made yet so I'll have to carry mine in but if somebody else goes we can help each other out
  18. Ya you could drag it in over the mud but a second set of hands would make it a LOT easier! there are a lot of mud piles created by the machines they are using to dredge the pond.
  19. Man! they have Flint's in Hollis all chewed up, they are cleaning all the millfoil up and have both ramps all dug up from the excavators.
  20. Anybody fish Flints(Hollis) lately? I am think of putting the kayak into some water in a few hours and was thinking I would give it a shot.
  21. Where did you purchase the Clark's book? I have had trouble locating it
  22. First time at Robinson Pond and after reading all the reviews on the place I wasn't sure how it was going to go. Stared out solid and got a few 1.5lb LMB with the first 15 minutes. After about an hour I was starting to believe what I read about a lot of smaller LMB and only a few larger ones was shattered! I hooked into my personal best(4.5lbs.) and that sucker took me for a kayak ride into the weeds and I thought I was going to loose him. Finally landed him and reached for my cell phone for proof........left it in the d**n truck Well I will be returning there soon, fun way to spend my early Sunday morning.
  23. Hi Guys, anybody know if Little Island Pond in Pelham has an access spot? I noticed at the end of Girl Scout Rd. there maybe a way to launch but wanted to check before making the drive Friday Thanks Guys!!
