  1. What a BEAUTIFUL day! Got out today in the yak, went to Naticook and had the most productive day there yet....10 LMB and 2 Picks in 4 hours, largest about 2lbs.
  2. I guess the question would be "Does anybody out there know what these little bugs are?" And "are they harmful?"
  3. Ok now that I got a kayak all rigged up where do I go? are there any "hot spots" in the Nashua area? I headed out to Naticook this morning and caught a few LMB and a bunch of pickerel, those picks are hitting HARD! I am thinking Flints and round pond are in my near future.
  4. No more shore fishing for me picked up a kayak today and can't wait to head out for some fatties....
  5. Got out to Millpond behind the Conway Arena this morning, fished 6:30-10 and got 4 pickerel and a handful of 1 lb LMB. One of the pickerel was huge! and the sucker snagged my best spinner bait
  6. Where's Hopkinton? Nice fish!!
  7. Anybody have a secret (shoreline only) spots they would like to share. I am planning on heading out early fathers day AM but have gotten bored of the usual spots(mill pond,Naticook and Lovewell) Something local to Nashua PS you can PM me and I'll keep your little secret safe
  8. Anybody fishing up there in Concord drop something? http://nh.craigslist.org/zip/1766611804.html
  9. I had a pretty productive afternoon at Naticook yesterday from the shoreline, caught 2 large Pickerel and a half dozen LMB (2 lb'ers). Also, hooked into something HUGE but it ran into the weed cover and he got away
  10. Thanks! I will pick up a few and give them a toss. I may head to Tinker Rd. around noon to try that place out, I never fished there any suggestion on hotspots?
  11. Ya, I try to and I usually stay a bit way from the shorline so not to spook them. Fishing parallel works
  12. Ugg Mill Pond has been skunking me for the past couple of days tons of bass visible from the shore but they are turning there nose up to everything I throw at them. I am heading there today and I will catch something dammit!
  13. Looks like you guys had a great time!!
  14. Oh I should add I will be tossing this into the bed of a 09 Tacoma double cab with the 5' bed, extra 2' with the gate down so I am thinking of about a 8' kayak length.
  15. I would love some suggestion on my first fishing kayak.I am looking to spend <$250.I have looked at a few on the Dick's website as well as some we have at the local Sport's Authority and it is a bit overwhelming. I would like something light enough to carry for a short while for those no ramp ponds we have up here in NH This is my 1st kayak so I need something I won't be to hard to handle as a beginner also.
  16. I'm interested in this as well, I will pick up a pair also if it is beneficial.
  17. hmm that's interesting, they were really more bronze in color? jumping way out of the water also :-?
  18. I'm digging that setup!!
  19. Had some good luck on Mill Pond for the 1st time this year. One huge pickerel that thankfully jumped off the spinner before landing him. Also 6 SMB...all on senko's All in a 2 hour span
  20. I believe they stock Lovewell with them.
  21. I'm heading out at 7am but can't decide where to go(shore fishing).I am leaning towards Mill pond or that Bass Pond in Dunstable :-/
  22. Nashua rod and reel looks to be a private residence?appointment only? Only a mile from my house though
  23. we get 99% of our gear from sports authority and walmart. theres also a guy in nashua, nashua rod&reel i think, that has alot of good stuff. if you are really just targeting bass you might be wasting your time at lovewell. i have fished there quite a bit and never caught a bass there. it is a great crappie pond though. if you follow the road lovewell is on a little further you will see some boulders on the same side of the road. there are some trails there and if you follow them down the is a small pond that has easy access all the way around. it is full of small bass. it is in dunstable, ma. <http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=lovewell+pond+nashua&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Lovewell+Pond&ll=42.700573,-71.523507&spn=0.011606,0.02738&t=h&z=16> Thanks for the heads up on locations for supply's, I actually haven't been targeting bass as of yet, I actually LOVE catching those crappies
