Got stuck paddling when my battery died about 15 min from the dam so pochahantas is leaving a bad tast in my mouth with all these mishaps storm now i had to paddle the boat for over an hour and a half with one ore fml and on top of that there where 5 boats out there and couldnt even borrow someones paddle! And to top it all off i was shut out with zero fishh! But i will catch a 5 pound plus out there this year deffenitly nice fish out there its just finding and catching them if anyone goes out let me know !

naw i had 5 poles set up one with plastic texas rig one dropshot one with a spinner bait one with a frog and finally one with jig and pig just saves a ton of tieing and re ting just grb a pole change plastic etc and just watch depth and threw accordingly we went way out close to the dam and you could see bait fish schooling so we started throwing spinnners in and around schools and then storm started rolling we had a nightmarish trip back had trolling motor on 5 and we were going the opposite way had to empty boat twice becouse over 5 inches of rain had accumulated in the boat ill use a different weather man next time haha just love the scenery at this place looks like bass heaven just doesn't fish like bass heaven to me yet lol . aj .... have you noticed People are extremely rude out there ???? this is twice peaple have bn huge di**s out there say hey how you doing any luck and shrug you off and look the other way smh it about having fun to me dont know what these peoples problems just wondering if you had the same treatment

and that day we caught like 15 to 20 crappie all around 10 inches pretty fun i was surprised we did so well pan fishing right off the docks .

yeah i got a 12 foot also but will be going out with ripping lips i think it would be fun for sure that lake is tough but fun to be out there at least i think the scenery is sweet out there

we saw you out there one day we where crappie fishing off the docks i think it was you and your dad

rob i have a mad max you can have its sexy shad thrown it twice dont really like it that much gets abandond under my spros remind me tomm we should all have a little meet up and fish out there one day its like 10 min frim m and 5 from ripen lips

green top by far best personnel in richmond all fishing gear cheaper and thy will tell you stright up if you may be wasting time or money on somthing i went to bass pro bought a revo s and a abu garcia vendetta rod had in stung took the guy three times and about 30 min to get it straight total price was 200 plus tax next day went to green top bought same combo got it strung for free and talked to the clerk for about 20 min about good spots at chesdin and good baits to throw total cost 160 needless to say i took first combo back to bps cant beat green top. quality place with good prices . dances in colonial heights is ok i like there plastic baits line its a private sellers line i believe but got no help and prices are too high i priced the revo s there it was 140 ????? i bought same reel from greentop 99 not on sale need fishing stuff go to greentop !!!

id be Leary rock quarry's don't usually hold a lot of bass at least my experiences have proven this there kind of hard to fish there is hardly any cover and usually very deep good luck hope you find other wise white works well in clear water for me .

nice fish buddy just as a testimony to its not over till there on the scale last Saturday i hooked up on a big female i got it all the way to the boat grabbed it twice first time i couldn't get my hand in its mouth second tome she shook the hook right into my thumb and guess what i happened to be using an eagle claw lazer sharp hook the eyelid had stretched just enough for the line to get wedged in it and it sliced my line in half knot and all still on fish gone about an hour later new spot the fishing gods shined down on me and guess what ???? pulled up a 8 pound 7 ounce lmb with a creature bait and a eagle claw hook clinging to the fish have pictures keep trying to post but need to resize to large to post. Thought i would share great fish !!!! get them in the boat guysn !!!!!!!!

great minds think alike i caught 13 crappie yesterday and plan on hittting the basss hard tomm morning we caght a 2.3 pound crappie thought is was a bass put up a good fight ;D

anyone noticed any beds in va yet i have not but some water temps are getting very close so thought id put it out there too see if anyone else has seen some beds or a good prespawn bite ? so far for me with this crazy weather hot cold hot cold the fishing has bn the same hot and cold
