i also didnt catch a thing on the bridge all along the banks and the dock up near the parking ! just as a reminder i was kinda keeping this to myself but i caught one bigger than that at the grove please please if you go here pick up your trash be respectful and catch and release !!! so we can all fish there another day the one i caught at the grove was a asolid 7 bigger than this one

i have driven by the Newport news reservoir i am curios as to if you can fish it it looks like a bass haven i dont wanna drive down for the day untill i get some info on it so its all greatly appreciated thanks guys

went out to enclave today from 5 -9 caught 9 bass all on the white worm haha i switched up numerous times but kept creeping back to what worked ! pretty fun day seems like a young pond tonnssssssss of brim every where nibble nibble nibble your appendages are gone ! here is some pics nothing of size caught 1 2 pounder he was right under didn't get a pic though here are some less than 1.5 pounds fishing for catfish would be fun out here people feed them so they come right up to baits and even top water bait got a cool picture of one chasing white worm right off shore

speaking of my new pole i am looking to ge rid of a quantium spinning reel with a 6ft tenactive rod i pad 60 1 month ago looking to get 25 for it its strung with stren 10 pound flouracarbon line pm me if intrested i can get pics

very very nice pond scenery nice cover i went to dicks sporting good and bought my first bait caster today and i went there to get the hang of casting it i caught two 1 pounders about 12 inches in length both on whit spinner bait near 1st dock to the left i only casted about 10 times i was just dropping by to cast a couple times i had to get home b4 it got to late but lots of pond to fish i will be going back tomm or thursday ;D

have not fished it love to try saw it in my book of maps thanks to sam how do you get to the lot off what road will give you a report asap ;D

went to the swift creek part of pochahantas today not much luck there did catch a snarling turtle never seen one this big i had him hooked in the mouth also weird it was a 7/8 booyah boogie he made it loook tiny i thought i had a lunker it was all over the place i pulled him to the boat expecting a nice fish and it was a big old snapping turtle he jerked the bait out of his mouth and in the process he got it stuck in his hand lol he was safely released without losing the bait ;D luckily

beaver lake you go down pass the dam on the left very next parking lot take a left stay to the left and walk the trail to the right about .2 miles down ad its there folllow the trail to the far side don't wast time on near side over fished and never caught one fish on that side so fish the opposite side tons of pads fallen trees lots of nice holes if your not catching there is a beaver hut down the trail its about a mile and a half down its a hike but you will definitely get a bit on a decent day tons of little holes on the way to the hut to stop and try

the small pond out in front i did happen to see one small sign that said no fishing but i didnt see any on the big pond behind the buisness office and there where others there fishing did you see any on the big pond ?

i was curouis to see how my central Virginians where doing on the water this year show me what you've caught this year !!! ;D
