Just went there to do some fishing and ramp was closed. Cops everywhere, helicopters...anyone know whats up?

I didnt go to the peir but fished from the surf down at Nags Head. Caught some Flounder and Croaker on imitation blood worms.

I was on vacation last week and didnt get out the week before. So been a little while. I'll be hitting up Pohick tomorrow.

Sweet, might go this weekend just to change it up a bit.

Just wondering if anyone has fished out of Pohick Bay lately. Havent been there in years but was thinking about maybe taking a trip out there to see how the fishing was.

nice...i was using jigs at about 10-15 feet and couldnt hook up. saw some guys hooking up on cranks but I wanted to stick with the jig. To top it off...I lost a jig too!

Went out for a few hours today at Fountainhead and got skunked!! Sucks!

Went to Huntsman for the first time and fished the right and left cove of the d**n....nothing. Was only there for about 1 hr.

One of those days for me this morning.....lost 3 jigs and only 1 bite. She did an arial display and shook the hook off.

Caught 6 today @ fountainhead between 6am and 9am. All between 14-16 inches.

part of me wants to keep trying Burke just because its a challenge to catch anything there.
