  1. LOL...Thanks for the advice! For those applications your 7' Med Heavy power, Fast action rod will work very well. It is a good multi-purpose rod. For light jigs and plastics a 7' Med Fast or Extra Fast (in the range indicated) will make a great addition IMO. That's how most of us justify the amount of tackle we own.
  2. Would i be better off with a rod that was rated 1/4 - 5/8 oz. I normally fish worms, including Senkos. But like to use jigs and frogs now and then also. I'm a newbie, so the weight ratings are confusing.
  3. Accuracy is decent so far, but not where i want or need to be!
  4. I have been using my new Revo Stx for about 4 days now. It's paired with a St.Croix 7' MH Fast 3/8-1 oz. rod. I am able to cast a 3/8 practice weight 33-35 yrds on a consistantly. What kind of distance should i expect to get?
  5. Thanks, i was able to find it...now i can sleep!
  6. Very smooth reel.... i'm just looking for the secret screw!
  7. Yes it did, but it's information about adjusting the duel brakes is very poor. Ok great! I assume there's a super secret screw i need to loosen somewhere on the reel? lol did the reel come with an owners manual?
  8. Ok great! I assume there's a super secret screw i need to loosen somewhere on the reel? lol
  9. I just bought the Revo STX and had a question about the dual braking system. How do i make adjustments to the "duel" braking system? I only see one adjustment knob for the brake. The instruction for adjusting the duel brakes are very poor. Thanks
  10. Sorry if this question has been asked a million times...ok, a million and 1 now. I recently purchased a Revo STX and love it. I almost always fish worms and sometimes jig. I've narrowed it down to a 7' MH Fast rod. What i'm confused by is what lure weight would be best i.e. 1/4-5/8 or 3/8-1. I love fishing weightless senko so i want to get the proper rod. Thanks !
