I never cast with two hands. I remeber trying a few times but just didnt feel right to me. BC or Spinning doesnt matter. Im left handed throw with my left, reel with right hand.
I was 10 or so saw a person throwing one handed and threw the rod/reel in the river-this person- my Mother ;D
I put no.
My rods are a few black a few brown & dark green. I have blue, chrome, red, white, light tan, black reels. If I like a product I get it.
I will say color may attract me to a product but no, no need to match.
I dont watch any tv fishing show anymore so the latest greatest pros I dont know much about.
The one person I would have liked to go fishing with, Virgil Ward. I grew-up watching his show.
if you have holes in the spool it works.if not you got lucky.
Yep my bc has a wiffle spool I just tie into the holes. On spinning reel use mono backing.
Have you ever tried just a nightcrawler on a hook no weight? This works great for me on hot bright days on a small (25acre) clear lake that gets fished a lot. I can throw out 40' and still see the worm 8-10' down.
Put just the first inch of the fat end on the hook let the rest dangle. The bigger the worm the better.
This has caught fish for me when senko and berkley shaky worm werent working.
