  1. I broke my front tooth when I was young biting line, among other things......I carry 3 pairs of pliers with line cutters with me when I fish, just to make sure I don't do that again! Jeff
  2. appears he caught his pb more than once today! Congrats to him and looks like yall had a great day! Jeff
  3. 3/8 oz black/blue jig with rage baby craw trailer sk red eye shad 1/2oz(fav color) favorite topwater bait(devils horse)
  4. Stay away from the TN river anywhere near the dam. They are generating so much water, the fishing is bad, and you would die trying to wade! Jeff
  5. Your right! It would escalate the situation dramatically. I myself have never done it, my father on the other hand, would do it in an instant while tournament fishing! He always said if he can hit you with a cast you are too close, and deserve whatever happens! He was also known to throw over others lines to break them off in situations! Thanks goodness he doesn't tournament fish anymore!!! :D Saturday while fishing Pickwick, a pontoon fisherman drives straight between us and the bank while fishing a point! My fishing partner proceeds to pick up a jig and launch it within feet of hitting the pontoon. Would have been a wakeup call to the old fart that never looked up from his graph to see how ticked we were! Jeff
  6. I use a curado e50 for both of those uses (6.4) Jeff
  7. crank bait to the side of a boat or treble hooks into his carpet and I guarantee you he wont do it again!! I know I know thats harsh.....

  11. Thank you for your help sir! I thought that just took you to the bottom of the page to make a reply! Haha Jeff
  12. 90% of my fishing so far this year is on a naturally spring fed 20 acre pond. It's max depth is about 15 feet and averages about 7. So the topwater bite is on almost every morning and evening, so its a little unfair to compare my topwater success to somewhere like Guntersville! Jeff
  13. I can't quote anyone? how do you do it on the new site? other than that I love it! Jeff
  14. too bad we can't legally eat tiger.....hmmmm LOL! Good ole rivalries! Can't wait till its football time again and we will have a mile long thread about the ark win over lswho? Jeff
  15. I'd prepay as well..... Jeff
  16. Nice day. You have WAY more ambition than I do. I have a 50* rule. If it doesn't get higher than 50* within the first hour I ain goin. Congrats. Jeff
  17. Looks like a fun time was had! Congrats! Jeff
  18. If the NCAA had the same kind of roster restrictions as the NFL, then the numbers would show a more clear percentage, but since they don't, and I'm glad they dont, the numbers could NEVER be accurate! Thank goodness kids that aren't NFL material can play a sport, keep out of drugs and other bad behaviors, while still earning an education, and go on to get a good job and not be an overpaid thug! Think about 5 yr $40 million contracts...thats almost $4 a min 24/7/365! Wish I got paid that for playing football! Hell, I'd be a thug! Jeff

Topwater in general.....doesn't get any better than that! Jeff
  20. I have 2 pair of the Black Iridium. They stay in my truck for driving but I have used them for fishing as well! Not near as good as my Costa 580 copper lenses, but they do in a pinch! Jeff
  21. I have already caught over 100 fish on topwater this year! Of course it is my favorite way to fish, and the first hour and last hour of every day is dedicated to throwing topwater! Most of my fish have come on the old faithful devil's horse! Jeff
  22. Awesome! Great times you will ALWAYS remember! Jeff
  23. But with Tyler Wilson! Mark my word, more run game, and not so one sided offense will make my hogs a TOUGH game for your tigers! Jeff
  24. LSU will have a tough time with their last game of the season as well! Seems like they always do :D
  25. Nice fish, and great trip! Jeff
